Shea and Johnny Football
First post, but I really think he is just having fun. Would prefer Shea not to have any interaction with this guy but here it is.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaabk/qbs-manziel-patterson-make-texa…;
In other news, Big Drew and Jim reported that Mo Hurst has been cleared of his medical issue. Sorry to thread jack, but seemed more important.
Good to hear. Thanks for the update
awesome. hope that his draft position wasn't screwed because of it.
I hope for the Lions' sake that he falls to them but I hope for his sake that he doesn't.
good confirmation that UM medical and coaching staff weren’t taking a risk playing him.
He deleted his tweet accepting Manziel's bet. Probably after his attorney chewed him out after doing so with his eligibility still up in the air
Jesus S Christ of all humans for Shea to NOT get publicly linked to right now I'd have to say I'd put Johnny Football at the top of the list.
I know I tend to skew pessimistic when it comes to Michigan and the NCAA (go figure) but damn Shea dont make it easy for them to justify a no for God's sake.
I always thought it was Jesus "H" Christ lol
It's actually Jesus H. S. Christ.
Jesus Holy Spirit Christ.
JHSC.
All of that works.
Yeah I think he was referring to the other guy. “Hay Zeus”
Different guy. That's why they use their middle initials. Very confusing.
Rooting for Peters. Great news Mo.
See you all at Staples thru the rain.
Go Blue.
Serious question. What did you see?

Believe UMbig11 was incredulous at the user still rooting for Peters
Can't embed on phone but I can apparently double post effectively

PROS: Best arm on the 2017 team. Great ability to adjust velocity on throws to make passes very catchable. Provided spark to offense when first inserted. Not a dual threat but shows plus athleticism. Gained big game experience as a redshirt freshmen.
CONS: Coming off a concussion. Failed to rifle some passes when needing to despite good arm strength. Regressed in bowl game. Seems to lack the guts to dive head first for a clutch first down and not a vocal leader which is desired from his position.
He was only a redshirt freshmen. It is too early to write off anyone this young. I think Patterson is the #1 and McCaffrey will probably bump Peters for #2 but there is a lot to be determined about how the QB depth all shakes out.
In what world is a Manziel signed jersey worth anything??
I'm sure he still doesn't even pay for one line of coke in Texas.
I'd prefer to never see a Michigan player's name in the same sentence as Manziel's unless it's an article about them breaking some sort of record that he held.
The NCAA is going to do what it's going to do. Michigan will be fine regardless.
Did Hotel Putingrad get sent to Bolivia or are you a different guy impersonating him?
it wasn't LSA. Remaining suspects have yet to talk.
I got banned for, as best as I can figure, quoting someone. I could never get an explanation.

Solidarity, brother!
I'm sure one of the perks of running a site like this is being able to act with impunity. You know how it is - getting a bit hammered while watching a game, scroll through a few comments and, on a whim, say to yourself "hey.. F this guy" and hit the SMITE button. The next morning, you see what happened and you just shrug it off. Why? Because you can.
to Putingrad.
First post possibly last post
New, Knew, again?
I mean Shea did take money to play at Ole Miss right, so he's a questionable dude. That said, all is forgiven if he beats OSU.
Idk whybthis is down voted....we know ole miss was cheating and they magically got an elite QB. I’m sure the hookers, groupies, and bag men didn’t hurt ole miss chances.
They hired his brother on the staff. Payment enough.
1) It's an uninformed take due to the fact that his brother got hired on staff, which as the previous replier(?) mentioned and that might have been enough.
2) Assuming that he has questionable character for being paid(Which we aren't sure of anyway) for a service he is providing to the University is ridiculous. If he did take money, I don't think we can say whether that is indicative of a negative character trait or whether its indicative of someone understanding their value and skirting insane rules to get compensation for it. The latter makes me like him more personally.
3) They didn't "magically get a 5 star QB". They had high recruiting classes and solid seasons the few years before which might have led Patterson to believe they were a good destination to win games and improve his draft stock.
Just to be clear, I have no idea whether he was paid, but saying that he obviously was is an uninformed take. He probably was is better, but even then, calling out his character because of that is just stupid. And when you factor in that his brother got hired, I think a likely scenario is that the two factors that played into his commitment to Ole Miss was the fact that he was helping out his brother(probably a sign of high character) and the likelihood to win games.
On top of it all, he chose to go to UM for his transfer, and almost assuredly didn't get paid to do so. I'm sure if he were looking for money, he could've found it somewhere, but instead chose to go to possibly the best coach in college for improving your draft stock. I think he cares about getting better and being drafted. Which signals to me that he thought Ole Miss gave him that opportunity, which wasn't all that wrong. Hugh Freeze is a solid-to-great offensive coach who turned Chad Kelly into a drafted quarterback.
Because of the fact that they were cheating their asses off.
The current 247 2019 recruiting rankings has Ole Miss at #4 and they're certainly not cheating at the moment so how is that explained away?
If those two names never appear in the same sentence again..... That would be good.
Manziel did win the Heisman though
....and then he.....(I am waiting)....
A heisman winning qb...don’t really care what he does in the pros
It's nice to be able to say things like, "Tom Brady is a Michigan man", but I would rather be able to point to national championships when discussing former players.
If I had the choice of trading places with Tom or Johnny.....
I'd pass on the heisman.
I agree
Seniors and Michigan recruits before I root for transfers. Old school
Yes, I love to WIN. But listen to latest Harbaugh podcast w last years Captain Mike McCray. Solid dude., M grad,, did well in combine and will be drafted. Like Ben Gideon last year, a guy that goes 4 or 5 years, matures and represents M how it should be. Solid.
That is why I will root for Peters. BTW, He has the Talent. Just young. Go Blue.
There's absolutely no way McCray makes it to a 57 man roster. Good guy but no way

Are you drunk? Gedeon is thriving in the pros and he was not nearly as good as McCray.
Also at the senior bowl a lot of scouts loved McCray..
He will make a roster fairly easily imo
Not nearly as good? Gedeon led the team in tackles by a mile as a senior and also co-led in TFLs (with Peppers).
McCray is fine but there’s a reason opponents schemed to get him in coverage. Gedeon was a better pro prospect because of his athleticism.
the holdup with Patterson's eligibility? How long does the NCAA dick around with this stuff?
