Semi OT: Gotta love delusional Domer fans.

Submitted by Wolverine0056 on

So I just wanted to share my story of a delusional Domer fan. I went to Menards yesterday to order a fence for my house. I was sporting my Michigan hat and sweatshirt while there and the guy that helped me with ordering the fence was a ND fan. He started talking a bunch of shit about how ND is going to roll through Michigan this weekend. He said he is going to be at the game to witness it in person. After hearing all of this for a minute or so, I turned to him and said "Sorry but not happening this year, ND sucks and D-Rob is going to burn the shit out of your defense. Now, how about that fence?"

Of course he threw a hissy fit but got the order done. I know, good story bro, but I thought I would share this example of a delusional ND Domer fan.

yea this idiot i work with is obsessed with MSU, and said the same thing.. although he was a little more logical and said if it was at UM we would shit on them..  But for some reason just because its in SB we are gonna get killed..  Cause UCONN was worse than a mac team apparently in his eyes..  I deal with haters at my work all day

Two rules apply here:

1.  Let the scoreboard talk for you.

2.  It is better to keep you mouth closed and let people think you are stupid, than open it and remove all doubt.

Spartans (especially) and leprechauns  - take note.

Not to be DebbieDowner. I am as optimistic and excited about what this year might bring as the next guy, but I don't think either team has a true, accurate picture of their team's make-up. That being said, I think  I will withhold from telling anyone M will roll ND. It's going to be a great test.

Only I would have informed the manager exactly as to why I was purchasing from someone else.  Domer must've been a friggin' idiot.  Two things one never opinionates about with a client, politics and sports.

I stopped using a cabbie that I had regularly called for commutes to the airport for work because he was bashing Michigan football on my last trip.  When we got to the airport he asked when I'd be coming back in and I flatly replied that I had a ride home.

Predict a huge Irish win every week. If you just stick to that prediction, obviously it will happen sometimes. Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.
