Semi-OT: Fox Sports Writer Calls Urban Meyer Out For His Hypocrisy
This Foxsports writer blasts Urban Meyer for his hypocritical book about instilling a culture of discipline. Calls O'Reilly out for letting Urban off the hook by implying that he would have kicked Jameis Winston off the team....even though Urban once let a player get away with murder.
Urban Meyer criticizes FSU's handling of Jameis Winston. sets impressive new bullshit record on Fox News: https://t.co/wxq5eJz04R

I don't know who this guy is, but I like him.

doesn't handle stress and ridicule that well with the best of them. Did you see how happy he was after the Penn State game and his wife had to come stand beside him in the after game interview? I saw something there. Even though they are undefeated, just winning that game with that little qb controversy, not winning games in stunning fashion that should and having UM lose that day was such a big relief. Comeon man. I could be wrong but these little things I pick up on. Things like these will start to become more and more obvious as I am undoubtedly looking for them more and more. So yes, once the buckeye superduty starts to lose horsepower he'll be gone. Hopefully leaving them in shambles so all of you on this blog can laugh along with myself. Man that felt good.

Sorry guys but I think we look as ignorant as Buckeyes fans talking about Harbaugh taking off for the NFL when we talk about Meyer leaving for another school, or, for "health reasons."
The guy is 46-3 at Ohio State, has not lost a regular season B1G game, and has won a national title in three years. Their facilities are top notch and they are the king of football in a talent rich state. The 2016 & 2017 Ohio State recruiting classes are both, currently, ranked number one.
It may still happen, he may leave for another school, or the NFL, or eventually quit because Harbaugh, Diantoni, or Franklin, finally catch up, but I'll be genuinely surprised.

I honestly believe that if OSU had not come open, if Tressel had been allowed to coach into his 60's and only just now nearing the point in which he'd contemplate retirement, that Meyer would have never coached again. Ohio State, his alma mater and home state, was just too alluring.

I don't really remember Meyer having problems with "thug" players, other than Florida. And problems kept happening there long after he left. So it's probably more of a Florida thing than a Meyer thing. You can't drive 2 miles in that state without passing a dead hooker and a meth lab. Garbage in, garbage out.

It would take some real determination to recruit thug players to Utah.

from Harbaugh just like he slithered out of the SEC when it was obvious Saban was building a machine.

Radio host and SEC honk of epic proportions, also known as kind of a bombastic a-hole.
edit: Meant to be a reply to a who's Clay Travis comment, not sure what went wrong.

100%, Urban is not leaving OSU on his own no matter how bad I would like to see that program sink.
