Nice. You could at least get BTN off comcast.net, but now I can use it on my other devices other than my computer.
I downloaded the app when it first came out - nearly two years ago, I think - and now I can finally give up the last bit of hope that I will be paying attention in most meetings.
A quick search for the official announcement only shows a thread that shows the login for Comcast Xfinity customer is working now, so I tried it and I am happily watching part of the NBA Draft episode of The Journey on the iPad as I type.

To be fair, all satellite providers provide free and/or cheap DVRs for multiple rooms. It seems to be cable providers, such as the local monopoly, that charges an arm and a leg for 10 year old tech (e.g. record 2 shows, 50 hours of recording etc.).
Do you have to have the TV subscription to access BTN2Go? I thought it would be more like ESPN3.
The BTN2Go app is pretty cool. I've only had to use it a couple times (Michigan basketball) but man it's handy when you're stuck away from your TV.
I had to buy a place up north to get a Charter ID in order to watch BTN2Go on my iPad and Droid. If my wife knew why I really wanted the cottage she would be SO pissed. When she catches me watching an old game I don't hear the end of it.
I had downloaded a couple years ago, realized it didnt work with comcast, and finally deleted it last year. guess i'll be redownloading it! Thanks, OP!
This is great! There were a few things last year that I wanted to watch, I think basketball games, that I couldn't because b102go wasn't on Comcast. Great news, now I know what I'm watching at work all day - old Michigan sports re-runs lol.
For some reason, I'm not seeing Comcast or XFinity in the list of providers, having just downloaded the BTN2GO app this morning. Are people having success with this?
you have to scroll down the list of providers and it is the very last one.
Got it, thanks! Mine says "/beta" in that spot, not Xfinity or Comcast, so I didn't suspect that it was what I needed to click. Thanks again.
I'm so sick of the issue with WatchESPN and DIRECTV. Why is it so difficult to make it available? Usually DIRECTV is pretty quick with adding new things, but this seems to be ESPN's issue. Sometimes I have the need to stream a game on my computer, but I can't do it now (well, I can with those illegal streams, but I prefer WatchESPN since it's in HD).
who seem to know what they're talking about, the earliest it may be added is at least a year off, whenever the overall contract between DTV and ABC/ESPN comes up for renegotiation.
That is ridiculous and complete bull shit if true. People want it, so why not provide it? DIRECTV, while pretty expensive, is the best TV provider IMO, but this is really annoying me. That being said, if and when I can get U-verse, I may make the switch, not simply because of this issue, but man, DIRECTV is just really expensive.
