Hmm... not a great game so far with Maryland and LSU
It has turned into a VERY entertaining game down the stretch! Lead has been going back and forth the last few minutes.

Maryland cant hit from the outside and LSU is rebounding so well that they have caused a travel and knocked the ball out of bounds against their own team.

I know there are a lot of teams we think are cheating. But we know 100% LSU is cheating, and they're cheating flippantly.

We know a lot of other teams are doing the same or worse, but LSU isnt a blue blood basketball school so naturally the NCAA will spank them. Not until they end the tournament dreams of potentially several teams here, unfortunately
I actually don't know if other schools are doing it worse.
If you look into the transcripts, schools like DePaul and Chreighton were outbidding Louisville. The best programs can get the blue chips at a bargain because they are just more appealing programs. A school like LSU may be paying the kids a lot more (especially from what it sounds) to get the kids to come there because they're not a blue blood
Maybe so. Maybe Duke, UK or Kansas are offering $50K and not $250K, does it really matter? They all make me sick! Coaches like Beilein, Few, Bennett at Virginia do way more with less talent and the NCAA should spotlight that instead of showing Izzo throwing a tantrum or rat face Coach K griping for calls because his 3 top 10 picks aren't winning by enough against some crap ball team

I don't think Minnesota has a chance against MSU because Minny is horrible. Let's just be honest about that.
But LSU could destroy them. These guys are so much more physically imposing than MSU
I actually disagree. I think Minny has a great chance against MSU today. They're playing some good ball as of late and the emergence of Gabe Kalscheur & Daniel Oturu has been really big for them. I think it's about 70%-30% that MSU wins but I think Minny has a good shot today. We shall see.
Idk. I've watched Minnesota a good amount this year. They're really not good. Some teams look a lot better than they are when they play a team that's playing horrible defense (Louisville).
MSU usually doesn't leave guys wide open for 3, which is exactly what Louisville did to Minny. And Minny is not a very good 3 point shooting team. They also let guys open for 3 a lot too.
A good example is us playing Minnesota and then MSU in consecutive games two times this season. We went 23/54 against Minny, and 15/51 against MSU from 3.
If/when Minny beats state today, my bracket will be complete.

Maryland is... not good. Undisciplined & Sloppy. The only win they have all season over a team they shouldn't have beat is splitting with Purdue. They road avoiding losing to any bad teams to a 6-seed.
Yet they are so physically imposing with their length. Fernando and Smith could be lights out under Beilein.

Maryland is one of the most talented team in the conference but they are wildly inconsistent. Fernando, Smith, and Cowan are capable of way more than they have shown

3 missed calls in quick succession there. Cowan should have had an and-1, they missed the OB call, and called Maryland on the clean block.
Yep...was going to mention the missed OOB call. I admit I csn half undertsamd some of those, we have a nkce eagle eye view. Still not good. The blatant inconsistency and horrible foul calls game in and game out just kill me though.

Basically Caliparis dribble drive offense from a few years ago, where the player bulls into the lane and knocks the defender backwards and the bigs clean up the missed shot. Wash, rinse, repeat
