Saturday Games and Spreads
I'm not a betting man, but if I were I'd bet on Maryland today. They're getting 19 points at Ohio State. I'll probably look like a fool, but that seems like a high probability that Maryland will cover that.
OSU's offense has struggled at times in this young season and Maryland has done very well offensively.
If I were forced to bet on the Michigan game, where Minnesota gets 18.5 points, I think Michigan will cover that.
Any other spreads you guys like?

I have a gut feeling that Maryland might win outright. The only thing I worry about is that OSU is so tough.

The average score of an OSU/Maryland game in Columbus is 62.5-18.25 and that is being helped by the 49-28 result in 2015.
Maryland has to show it before I'll believe it.

Maybe with some rain showers during the game along with 20-30 mph wind gusts and temps in the mid 50s, that could slow down both offenses. The field could become wet at times. All of this could result in a lower scoring game for both teams.
Is the Maryland defense good enough to slow the OSU offense so they keep the Terps in the game? The Buckeyes' defense is playing better than last year so that too will slow down the Terps offense.
I see this as a close matchup but the refs may a deciding factor by favoring the Buckeyes.

Seriously it's like people are completely forgetting that "September Maryland" is a thing.
Teams like Maryland don't win in the horseshoe, ever. Covering 20 points is one thing but we are talking about *MARYLAND* ffs.

Marylands been pretty good at doing just enough the last few seasons to lose against us and OSU. They’ve played us both extremely tough. Eventually they have to break through, just hope it’s today and not in a few weeks.

Maryland has allowed 57.4 PPG to OSU and hasn’t kept them below 60 in Columbus since 2015. I’ll believe the Terps will keep it close when I see it.

Maryland’s lines both stink. Ohio State is going to dominate up front on both sides. I think they cover.

I really like Rutgers getting 13.5 points. The O/U on that game is low 40s and 2 TDs seems like a huge line to me.

Eh, Maryland hasn't kept it within 21 points in Columbus since they joined the conference. In fact, the last three meetings at OSU have resulted in losses of 62-14, 73-14, and 66-17.

Because of four year college player turnover and annual position changes, I always take historical scores with a grain of salt. It is a generally good indicator, but it also has a ton of chaos in the data.
The last three meetings for example, Fields and Stroud had a field day while Maryland was rebuilding. This year is McCord vs. veteran Tua. Completely different scenario.

is there a difference between LSD and Acid? I once did two hits of what was called green micro dot having never done Acid before. I took Maryland when they were +20. Maryland has looked pretty good this while OSU has looked inconsistent.
