Saturday drinking thread
new house?
lived out there for years.
into the foothills and away from much of what makes LA unbearable.
I know the housing market out there is insane. Hell, that's the main reason I moved away! But chances are, it will work out for the best, whatever the outcome.
Arghuckbleck.I haz all the colds.
Sixteen 5-year-olds? You have definitely earned that Crown Royal.
Excellent first post. Cheers!
American Stout. Then off to Armani's for some Italian food.
2009 Ojai Santa Barbara County is awaiting grilled burgers, so Anchor Steam summer until then. In Claremont, which is a rude changeup from San Francisco, like 88 and bonedry.
Fambly (in-laws to be). Claremont growing on me. Like that brewery that opened in the Packing House. As a college town, though, coming from Ann Arbor...
snow skiing up in tahoe, water skiing in the evening down in sacramento, back in the day.
Thanks. We live in Cole Valley. It would frustrate me to be a student at one of the Claremont colleges, be so close to the Rose Bowl, but not having a team to follow. What is the WWZ?
Beer Geek Breakfast, Yeti Barrel Aged Espresso and an Ommegang Iron Throne
Deschutes Inversion IPA
Goose Island The Illinois IPA

Anyone watching this Kings-Hawks Game 5? Unreal. Richards deflects one off a faceoff with 9 seconds left to force OT. Thought it was over for the Kings when the Kaner slapped one in five minutes into the game to make it 2-0.
Overall would like to see a Hawks-Bruins final, but I am glad there is more hockey to watch tonight.
Damn right - great game. Though I probably wouldn't hate the Hawks so much if I didn't live in Chicago.
Firestone Walker Pale 31 with Dogfish Head 61 later potentially.
Looks like it. Man, need a commercial break here. Been waiting 20 mins here for a break to grab a beer.
EDIT: Finally, Lagunitas IPA
Kings. That they are still playing slants LA's way. Hawks have had their chances in OT. But would not rule out a Kaner hat trick.
Damn. Kaner hat trick it is.
That is the Hawks' game. Will be interesting to see that matched up with the Bruins grind and counter-strike. When was the last time the two top seeds met in the finals? Awhile, I bet. A good long while.
