Went to Perrin in Comstock Park. Nate Walser (formerly of Founders, came up with the recipe for KBS) is the brewmaster and he makes some really solid beers. My favorite from this trip was their I2D2 Black IPA. |

B.O.R.I.S is excellent, definitely one of the better RISs I have had. The oatmeal adds a bit of a different flavor, almost salty, to it. I got it for $9.99 for a bomber which isn't terrible for an RIS. I pay $16 for a 4 pack of Ten Fidy and around that for Founders Imperial Stout as well. I will definitely get B.O.R.I.S again since I only bought 2 bottles this time and one is to lay down for a year. |
