The high will be 87 degrees in Ann Arbor on September 3rd. Drink plenty of water.

Those CSU guys can play in a little heat, but are they ready for the humidity? Or the 75 points we will score before pulling back in the 3rd quarter and just running Orji up the middle for the last 20 minutes?

Thoughts and prayers to those seated in the N, NE, and E sections of the stadium. Actually, to everyone who, like me, wilts when either temperature / humidity exceeds 75.

Here's my opinion:  I don't go to many games, but look for the opposing sections of those listed above.  The S end of the stadium will generally have the sun behind you, although it's a noon game so the sun will still be high which limits the shade somewhat.  Maybe the SW corner and/or the W side (shaded by the tall press box structure) would work best, especially later.  Avoid the N, NE, E, and probably SE.

For those of us coming from the South, that sounds downright refreshing!   In all seriousness, that'll make for a steamy Big House.  The important thing is that rain/storms stay away.

EDIT:  they don’t call it hotlanta for nothing.

Yes, it’s really hot especially when you’re running the steps of the big house. Trust me on that one.

That said, you southerners probably have your down jackets on when it’s 85 or below. Below 70 the National Guard gets called out?

I was in Phoenix once in October when they were talking on TV about the cold spell they were having and how to keep warm and showing pictures of fireplaces and hot chocolate . . .

It was 85 degrees.

That's how the locals can spot the tourists.

Seriously - after decades in CA and AZ anything below 70 and you have to at least consider a quarter-zip or sweatshirt when wearing shorts.... -- I still vaguely remember having to golf when it was below 70...or worse...raining.

One of my favorite summer workouts was running the steps in the south end zone when the stadium was still open to the public. Bottom to the very top five times in a row without stopping got the blood moving for an old guy.

Fond memories of sitting in the stands above the north endzone as a freshman on a sunny September Saturday and then seeing all the sunburned faces on the right side the following day.

Even though it’s forecast to be warm.  It’s not as hot as it was moving my kids into their respective dorms last year - and carrying loads of stuff up and down four to seven flights of stairs.

Yes, we did use elevators for bigger things, but the wait times made it faster to just deal with the stairs instead.

And, bring sunscreen for the September games..
