COLLEGE CUP TAILGATING INFO. - SANTA BARBARA
The pregame tailgate location for all Michigan fans and alumni will be in parking lot #16 next to Harder Stadium. There will be free food and drinks.
Look for the "Michigan" tent in parking lot #16 in advance of the game to connect with other maize and blue faithful. Game kicks off at 8pm vs Akron. The tailgate kicks off at 5pm.
This message was sent out to all the presidents to post on their websites for the U-M clubs of: LA, san Diego, san jose, orange county, and san Francisco. Turnout may be 100-200 people.
The Assc athl director at ucsb said they have a no alcohol policy on campus but look the other way on game days as long as there are no kegs and beer/drinks are in cups.

Make sure you tell her that soccer takes twice as long as it really does so you'll have extra time to celebrate the victory. My friend's wife is still under the impression that a round of golf takes 8-9 hours. Gives us more drinking time.

I've been contemplating whether to make the drive up from North County San Diego, but that's quite the haul and I'll need to find overnight accomodations... which I'd totally do. However, that's a 3 hour drive without Friday rush hour traffic. Not so sure I can handle that.

You know you are going to hit traffic in Oceanside and probably again anywhere between Mission Viejo and Long Beach. Then we have LA which is another mess to deal with. So Cal driving really sucks.

Yes, this is one of the best drunk food places ever (Its open 24 hours). I did happen to have some sober on Tuesday, it was still good.

It can feel pricey when you are sober since I think I paid around $10-12 for my meal last time. But when I was drunk I think I paid close to $25 which I had no problem doing.

Decided to not ditch work and drive 350 miles down to SB from the bay area. Ill be cheering loud as hell, cocktail in hand in my living room watching on ESPN2.
