This is not pleasing to read.

Not hearing good signs at all this morning... https://t.co/hZQGw74NEv

MOD EDIT - not too much later, there was this from Webb - it was a separate thread, but let's try to conserve space, eh? - LSA

"I STILL think it'll be #Michigan for Gary. I'll have to see negative recruiting push him elsewhere to believe it. We'll know soon enough"

There are already a couple UM Whiners who are beginning to challenge the character and integrity of Gary, even though he hasn't committed. NICE and classy as usual with the weak psyches always on display here.

AND of course, the usual discussion of academics from guys who probably only set foot on a college campus to help clean it up.

any connection or possible connection with the fact that Signing of The Stars ends at 1pm and he's announcing at 1pm? I assume the event would run over time a bit, right? Maybe a final bang to the event the staff knows is happening?

Fear catalyzing attention is simple, unobjectionable neuroscience.

That's why you can't falsely yell "fire" out loud in public.

Fear = Attention

News organizations discovered this early on, as have un-ethical pharmaceutical companies and tabloids.

That's why all previous cultures have had parables analogous to the "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".

This is that.

I've been pretty brash about my confidence on Gary in this last week do to information I have. While none of that information has changed I now have concerns about Gary.

This is do to some circumstances with his announcement and from comments a top level coach said to me personally. He is not in the running for Gary and was out of the running about a year ago. However, I trust his word. He has brought in many five stars over the years.

I was given this information this morning at seperate times without asking.

I'll share with mods that want to contact me offline but even if we get Gary I now have my concerns. I am no longer confident in that as I think that single Clemson impact has had a large impact on those around him,

I don't need attention. I am in the middle of signing day. This year, last year, next year I am in the middle of signing day. I am in the middle of college football. Unless you are spending time with college coaches then you don't know or hear half of what I do.

If you don't care to listen that's fine.

What sucks for me is I don't spend anytime with BIG TEN coaches... But SEC, ACC... Yea I do that a lot.

It means I am concerned about the player we would get...

I still think he is Michigan.

There was something that happen around his announcement on ESPN that is a huge red flag. HUGE.

Then I was told something by a top level college head coach that really gave me concern.

I am concerned about Gary.

I also think Clemson has found a way to really get into the hearts and minds of everyone around Gary.

This talking in code is bullshit. Its like you want to say it but you cant, so you want attention by saying you cant tell is. And if you truly didnt care that we know you know something, you wouldnt post this cryptic shit.

So I read you as saying, ClemPson has doled out the cash to his family. Got ya. If Im wrong, say so. But your act is tiring.

Awesome! Thanks! I believe you. Just to fill you in, I work for your parent company, Disney. I went to Paramus Catholic (currently a DT). I have many different usernames ranging from this one to Discuss Man and Wolverine Devotee. I used to mentor three 2017 Michigan recruits .... Until some snake oil salesmen swooped in and stole them from me.

Previous 247 composite #1s go:

Georgia -2015

LSU - 2014

Ol Miss - 2013

Missouri - 2012

S Carolina - 2011

Florida - 2010

USC - 2009

Clemson - 2008

USC - 2007

Alabama - 2006

There is a significant southern trend here.  Probably no coincodence the only team outside of the south to grab #1s was a team known to dole out illegal benefits, USC.  Just my opinion obviously, but unless someone at Michigan is backing up the money truck (doubtful) Mr Gary will be going to Clemson.
