It's not like he said anything that wasn't true. 47 tackles for loss the last 4 games it's putrid to say the least.

No it wont, this team will perform like every other week. No word will fire anyone up.  Our players will go into the big house, take their beating and move on. When is the last time a michigan got up for this game and played out of their mind.  I cant remember one since 1997.

Well he's probably been watching the film.  I don't really think this is meant to "fan the flames" of war, he's just noted that we are having problems with our line, and said it in a way nicer than many of us would say it.

Meh, can't really argue with what's basically true. That OSU front seven must be licking its chops after watching film on us since the ND game.

We have a putrid, horrific offensive line. Its given up more sacks and TFL than I care to count. What else is there to say?

But you "run a gantlet." This latter phrase is so widely misused that it is becoming accepted to talk about running a gauntlet.

That's an awesome comment. It's true, it's directly related to football, and it's impossible for Michigan players to deny it or downplay it. I love trash talk when it's actual factual and relevant. Well done. I'm in favor of anything that brings attention to how horrible this offense has been. Get better, or get out.

Well, Shazier is off by a bit because the actual total is 102. But that is not unexpected since he recorded 20 solo tackles last week and might still be a bit loopy. Don't worry, your guy Peppers has already started providing us with bulletin board material, just like Kalis, Pipkins and a few other guys that hadn't played a snap of college football when they started spewing "there will be blood, etc. etc.".

True dat as they say in the "all powerful" SEC. The players learn to respect the rivalry eventually...other than Hart of course, and we all know how that turned out for him...

Other than the aforementioned example, it is pretty rare for either of our senior leaders to step out of line and start talking smack. The younger guys gotta learn that at a minimum, talking smack is just bad juju. Bad juju in our case wakes up the gods that brought Biakaba-still-trying-to-forget-him.

Seems like Fitz picked up where Hart left off...well at least as far as Sparty goes....ooops...forgot about Brandon and the whole sky-writing thing. Didn't turn out the way he planned I guess.

For Buckeye trash-talk he can get a lesson from Desmond or Woodson
