Ryan Day "4th and 1" parody. Also, is this really from Sam Webb?

2 Things:

1) A new Ryan Day parody about his brother the PI:

2) Does anyone know if this is really from Sam Webb? This may have already been addressed on this board. But, is there a Board of Regents meeting today? Ohio St fans are bats over this. I am leery of it. Anyone know?

This can't be original (i.e., it's too widely discussed to get me any credit), but a detail I noticed is that the insiders confirming the meeting were either non-committal on the M attendees or they specified the interviewing of staff, whereas the insiders denying a meeting were specific about coaches being absent because they were on the road. So, while it may "appear" implausible that both statements are correct, I don't think of the statements as mutually exclusive--or at least not necessarily.

Because both kinds of statements can be consistent with the NCAA visiting Michigan to meet staff and, let's say, administrators also, while at the same time something significantly less than the full roster of coaches was available to join in.

I think it is funny that after the 2016 game all Buckeye fans constantly made fun of Jim for complaining about how short Barrett was on that 4th down play…..And now they have Ryan Day as their coach who is probably one of the biggest sissy of a coach out there. There is nothing tough about him or his team except the word toughness that he tries to remind everyone all the time.  I cannot wait to watch his entire press conference after our game against them and see how many times he can preach toughness then.

As much as I despise Urban the Man, he is one helluva a coach and knew how to plan for The Game.

Day got awarded 3rd base in 2019 and defeated an overmatched QB who went 4-24-1 in the 2nd half after mastering his golf swing. He promised to roll up a 100 vs. us in 2020 and is still 50 short (combined) over 2 games.

I will also be replaying that post game over and over again. I really need to hear his feelings, soak them up, and inject all tOSU tears in my veins. It will be Salty, grimy, and slimy, but my UM immune system is a predator, and has been waiting all season to eat this prey.

Well, if there was a meeting, none of the regents who have an online presence seemed to know about it (and indeed, Jordan Acker almost instantly took an OSU writer to task for trying to spread the rumor), so I would say he was had on that tidbit.

It seems the insiders are correct and, it's still in line with Regent Ackerman's tweet.  It sounds like there was a board of regents meeting this morning, and the insiders are saying it's been planned for a few days.

Buckeye Twitter claimed there was an emergency meeting tonight and that Harbaugh would be resigning tomorrow.

Acker clapped back that there was no emergency meeting tonight.

The Michigan Board of Regents is a public body subject to the Open Meetings Act. They have to formally meet in a meeting that’s open to the public with notice provided and accessible to the public. They can’t just meet in secret and then meet publicly to rubberstamp decisions. That’s a violation of the OMA. They also can’t have deliberative discussions outside of an Open Meeting under the Act.

edit: no agenda required.

Yes that is from Sam and Balas also confirmed on a pay article there was a meeting. Seems insiders were aligned this was not an emergency "let's all get together sunday night" but a planned meeting over the last several days for Warde to give an update on the current situation.
