Rutgers starting QB out with concussion; will start backup Sitkowski

For those who haven't heard, Rutgers benched Artur (actual spelling) Sitkowski in favor of Texas Tech transfer McLane Carter.

Carter suffered a concussion against Iowa in Rutgers 30-0 loss in their B1G opener a few weeks ago and is still out. Sitkowski has officially been named their starter this week. He played for them in their 30-16 loss to Boston College last week.

Sitkowski was named the worst QB in Division I-FBS last season after 49.1 completion percentage and 11 TDs to 18 INT. He had an ok showing against BC, throwing for a little over 300 with 1 TD and 1 INT.

However, Boston College held Rutgers to 76 yards rushing in their 30-16 win. Boston College was hammered by Kansas the week prior 48-24. BC's other two wins on the year are over an FCS team and a very bad Virginia Tech team that is lucky it's not 0-3.

Score fast and rest Shea

Start Milton and give him extended PT.

Have Turner run the ball.

Put Sainristril and G Jackson in slot.

Gotta try things now.

We had strong interest in him. And (just the way I remember it, probably wrong) we didn’t walk away from him as much as he didn’t feel the love for us. That’s why, given the myriad issues that Rutgers has on offense, I’m always a little amused by trumpeting his (agreed) bad stats and pointing at him as the worst ever, and a menace to all mankind. I’m not sure that he’s to blame, and I’d guess that without seeing him play, the stats aren’t telling all.

Yeah, it does. ICYMI, we haven't looked so hot in our last 2 games and didn't do enough for the guy in Section 23 in the opener.

I'm ready to move on from last week. We've got football at The Big House in two days at Noon. Just as God intended.

Everyone shown in the MGoBlue feature this week looked extremely pissed off and ready to get back out there when giving their on-camera interviews.
