Roy Roundtree to be named wide receiver coach at CSU-Pueblo
As the article notes, Jeff Hecklinski is their passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Pretty cool that Roundtree is starting off a coaching career this young.
Will be very interested in the trajectory of his coaching career.
A definite bright spot for Michigan in recent years, hoping he makes his way back home someday.
You are spot on. Wonder how much the internet reduced employment there?

Putting roots down in Pueblo!
I know there was some serious hating on this game earlier in the week, but Denard to Roundtree to open the 2010 Illinois game is about as good as it gets on a first play.

The kid had some great games and clutch moments for us. Maybe the " May the Forcier Be With You" shirt isn't that bad after-all. Kid had potential.

Congrats to Mr. Roundtree. The defending D-II National Champion is a great place to begin your coaching career.

CSU-Pueblo is a traditionally strong DII team and a good place to start a career as he should get some good visibility there. Good for him.
Congrats Roy!! I hope he uses his Donald Duck voice to inspire his players, and has a long and successful coaching career.
It is cool to see some of the more recent players on various Michigan teams start down the coaching road, if you will, and in the case of Roundtree, not only is age on his side for developing a potentially nice career but Pueblo is definitely not a bad place to start it if you're starting in the D-II ranks. Best of luck to him in this next phase.
Not a bad stadium for a D-II program.
Dammit that's a great name
I like that one of my brothers is a star coaching. I am proud of him and excited to see him do something he loves. Since Roy has a great personality and great skill set at wide reciever I think he can reach out to the youth, not only teach about the position but about life lessons and experiences as well.
That's great! I knew he was out here playing in some form of Arena league and had been tweeting pics from downtown Denver over the past few months.
CSU-Pueblo is definitely in the same category as a Grand Valley State or Youngstown used to be. Demariyus Thomas' younger cousin Morocko has been a RB on that team.. Pretty sure that former Broncos RB Steve Sewell is the RB coach there.
