got my assignment and executed like the 2 star assassin that i am....
Go Blue
GAME OVER
We had a bad night and dropped to third place. OSU and TA&M took the top two spots.
I wish we had a bigger lead so I could go rogue but alas...
Last bombing run....
It'd be so dirty of us, but it would be awesome to give Wiscy every OSU region they're touching, so we can focus on all the others.
You KNOW that OSU is going to be attacking every Wiscy region they touch to try to pick up some easy numbers at the expense of their ally...
The decision to attack GaTech was the one that might cost the war.
We didn't attack GT. GT ignored our diplomatic efforts entirely and attacked us. We never had a choice in the matter.
Dude, shut up. We had OSU out manned and they still beat us. Don't talk about strategy.
*shrug* decisions to retaliate after being attacked is what I'm referring to. it's an age old strategy to draw someone out of a defensive position, which it did, opening up the entire west coast. but whatever, it's a game. Diplomacy is where the real fun is.
*snip*
Getting the order to defend Duke was rough. Fuck Duke.
Executed my order to attack from Space. Space, bitches.
My move is in!
Sorry I didn't sign up sooner. My measly one star is doing its part in the final hurrah!
Charrrrrge!
Stay on target. STAY ON TARGET!
THE END IS NEAR!
STOP PROCRASTINATING!!
ATTACK AND DEFEND!!!
And most of all...
F U C K. O H I O. S T.!!!
I got my assignment in with 16 minutes to spare. Both my stars are giving it their all.
Guess it ended at 11 edt? We lost :( wtf how did we balloon to -1700 players?
I guess everyone fired up their alts since it's the last day and the moms can't do anything about it.
Wow...what a shit final roll. We got absolutely destroyed.
Next year would be cooler to see final roll data in a more clear and intuitive way
We can't even beat ohio at on-line risk. Just shoot me now and be done with it.
We lost. Ohio won. We only finished 3rd. Unbelievable. All that star power and we lost.
It's like Michigan Football, without the star power.
/kill me :(
And we both cheated at the end. They just cheated with more lol
apparently don brown was running our cfbrisk program. we were winning at half time.
Going to the west coast was the right strategy. Not going after wisconsin was likely a mistake, however. All those protected territories..
I think going west coast and doing Northeast was a mistake. We should have stayed West and moved thru the Midwest instead of constantly battling OSU.
It was a bold strategy, Cotton, let's see how it worked out.
Odds were 23.7 territories, we end up with 18. OSU should have had 18.9 and end up with 23. What a stupid fucking game. Tell me again why did I partake in this?
So basically, there are three reasons why Michigan lost:
1. Georgia Tech threw away their own shot at victory to give Ohio State an advantage.
2. Ohio State engaged in massive cheating on the final day.
3. Horrible luck throughout the last week.
4. Err 1. Absolute shit strategy from day one. Obsessed with beating OSU rather then winning the game. We did neither. We spread ourselves too thin and had no coherent strstegy. We ate our own when it came to multiple friends playing. And we had a massive advantage over our rivals and still lost.
LOL... osu's participation grew by over 70% in the last two days. Nothing fishy about that at all.
Even still, based on our star power, it seems like it should have been almost impossible to lose, let alone be beat by TAMU. Wasn't TAMU being organized by a bunch of 14 year olds?
I was having a lot of fun with this silly game. Very disheartening to see Ohio cheat to win. Not at all surprising I suppose.
Rofl, going from a big lead to 2nd then 3rd on the last two days and OSU winning. That is the Michigan Difference.
May be if college football season gets cancelled this season, we can start a new risk game with all the big 10 teams and whip them all, especially OSU.
