Rick Minter now on as def analyst- package deal
Rick Minter joined the staff which was buried in the longer article below. I think this is awesome since he can give his son the informal coaching this is important and that Rick was pretty solid as a DC himself so he would likely bring good analysis to the analyst position. Pretty good set up for a younger DC (in terms of age, yes he is a unicorn due to how many years he has done the job).
Not a bad package deal. Another set of eyes is always good especially with that much experience.
Minter is Coming... again.
This is lowkey an awesome addition.
A DoubleMint(er)?
Watch out if we ever hire a coach named Tribble.
Maizinator, there could be some "Trouble with Tribbles"
taking a guess since the linked mlive article was about sanstril, not rick minter. i might not be the only person who has never heard of the guy, so here is a link to a wiki on him, assuming this is the right guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Minter

at chatster. what did i just watch?
This is a great addition to the defensive staff!
As we've seen with MBB, our assistant coaches are better than your head coach. And our analysts are better than our assistant coaches.
I'm sorry who?
Oh you mean RM. I am only able to understand references to people, places, and positions related to Michigan football when they are in 2 letter acronyms.
@XM-Mt 1822 - it was the last paragraph in that article. Pretty much the same info you posted.
I'm guessing it was a package deal to get Jesse.
A bit of reverse nepotism, but the guy's got legit creds, so I don't see a problem. Hopefully they can do what MacDonald was able to do last year.
