Ricardo Miller Moving to M for senior year?

Submitted by WolvinLA on
Call me the super creepy guy, but I'm also friends with Ricardo Miller on facebook. I'm not that old though. Anyway, his status just changes to "Ricardo Miller is movin to michigan dis summer goin to huron high school aint lookin back at florida." Read as much or as little into this as you well, but that's what it says.

My guess is Ricardo moves from 5* to 4* by playing in MI. Good news is that we would get that ever coveted commit from the state of Michigan which is so crucial to be a player among all the big BCS schools.

Uhh...Will Campbell, BooBoo (shoulda been a 5* to Rivals, height issue blah blah), RoJo, B. Graham, and Kevin Grady would beg to differ. If he has the talent, he has the talent. The services will see him at events and camps over the summer. A 5 star to Rivals is a 6.1 while the highest 4 star is a 6.0. Not a big difference if you ask me.

It's one thing to play high school football in Michigan, while it is quite another to play high school football in our local area. To put it simply, local high school football (particularly local high school football at Huron) sucks. It will, however, be interesting to see two of our WR commits play on the same team in a situation where anyone who really wants to can come and watch. At any rate, I could see him moving to Michigan to begin adjusting to the area, then enrolling next January, as I rather doubt that the allure of Huron High School is strong enough to make one want to switch high schools senior year.

Apparently he and Jeremy Jackson are pretty good friends, so I can understand the decision to come up here early and enroll at Huron. He'll be in Ann Arbor next year anyway, so this will likely give him more time to become acclimated to the area and also make the transition/move from Florida a little bit easier.

Sorry. Their starting QB of the last couple years is graduating. He was, at best, competent at his position in a weak football area. So next year's QB gets to start for his first (and possibly only) year with two (supposedly) of the best WR prospects in the nation on the field.

The only reasons this could be bad in any way are that we may lose intersest from some other FL guys most specifically Hart, his progression might be altered because I don't know how good their QB is or if their coaches are good or not, and he might end up hating the clod weather.

Ricardo living with Jeremy Jackson wouldn't look too good considering who employs JJ's dad. I think I'd prefer that Ricardo stay in FL and recruit for MI down there. I don't really see what he gains by coming to MI this year. And since he is going to enroll early, it would basically be a transfer for one semester...just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I think if he is going to move to Michigan he should get out to Inkster and persuade Gardner. hHim moving to AA is cool and all but lets get off his nuts for awhile and let his dick breathe.

But I'm thinking RR would NOT want Ricardo to move up here. Hasn't Ricardo become a great recruiting tool for all the talent down in Florida? A tool that never counts towards recruiting hours, etc. Will Ricardo still be able to recruit all those Florida burners after he's moved away? Maybe so... but any chance Rich might miss that a bit

he'll be a defacto student, and he'll be able to be on campus hanging out with every Florida kid when they take their official. It might hurt with the other kids that go to his school, like Wood and Hart, but its not like he probably sees the other Florida kids all that often.

Wood goes to Apopka with Jeremy Gallon, not Dr. Phillips. And overall this could be an even better thing. Now Ricardo can call the Florida recruits and tell them firsthand what life in Ann Arbor is like, and what to expect when they visit. Different approach from face to face contact, sure, but not necessarily a bad thing.

Ricardo will continue to recruit FL for M. He doesn't have to physically be there. Remember Tate saying he was working on Stokes every day? He didn't need to be in PA to do it. This is good for at least 2 reasons. One, as mentioned, he will be here during every recruiting weekend. He will be able to reruit kids from everywhere in the country that way, in person. Second, this destroys whatever miniscule chance there was of him decommitting. He's now super extra deluxe solid BLUE.
