I think when someone asks your opinion, that's what you are supposed to do.
I agree with your assessment, but would add that you should be prepared for criticism of it as to:
1. The nature of your opinion
2. The fact that you expressed an opinion
3. Your political party
4. Whether you are a global warming advocate
5. Whether you are COVID anti-vac
6. Whether you are an advocate of critical race theory
7. Numerous other down the rabbit hole comments
8. Ad inifinitum

I feel ya Hab. Wondered why he reacted to your post that way. The expectation is when an OP asks for an opinion they get the ball rolling with their own!
Yahbut don't forget there's always another option: NOT giving an opinion.
Though this group is all about opinions, a big part of the reason I'm here, it's not REQUIRED to answer everything.

There is only speculation at this point. I defer to my ears. Listen to when the ball hits the machine the first two throws. Then listen to the machine the last throw. If this is fake, they spent a lot of money on some stupid shit.
