Will the Dolphins beat the Lions? I-I-I-I don't know. I-I j-j-j-just think that, that, that, they're playing good football right now. They-they--DREW--can you prove me wrong? I-I-I-I just think that, golly gee, they're playing good football right now. A-a-am I wrong, DREW?!
Sean's intentional stuttering makes me long for death anytime I hear it. That, and his ability to say absolutely nothing for 3 hours straight. It's a lot of non-predictions and analysis mixed with, "The lions are 6-2 right now. Am I wrong, DREW?! A-a-a-am I wrong?!"
Program (or in Sean's case, "progrum") directors are idiots. Why do they think people like Huge or Baligian are good in any way?

It warms my heart to know that I am not the only one in the greater Grand Rapids area that curls into the fetal position upon hearing Sean Baligian's voice assault his or her eardrums.
Go away, Baligian. Go away.

We'll just make this your Tuesday Night MACtion thread because "Welcome back, Tuesday Night MACtion" as well as Ray Bentley's hair. I am pretty sure this is a fair compromise and everyone wins at least a little bit in this deal. Well, depending on your point of view, that is...

word used to be "egregious," which he often misused, egregiously. The show improves instantly when he is away from the studio. HIs voice in advertisements is strained and cheesy. I don't know anyone who listens that likes him.

Isn't this latest guy the third co-host since Bentley came onboard? Furthermore, are there any radio people left in the area that aren't Sparty slappies? I still don't understand why 96.1 canned Ryan Terpstra.
In summary, GR is way too green for my liking these days.

They're trying to pigeonhole Bentley into the market because he's the only local person with seemingly any credibility or experience. It's kind of sad. I've met him and he's not a bad guy...just not a very good analyst.
Terpstra seemed cool, but he wasn't a very strong speaker. The golden era in this market was when Tom Kowalski was on that show. It was actually listenable.
Also, does anyone remember when Brian VanOchten was put on the Huge Show, only for him to go rogue on Twitter after quitting/being fired? He went on and on about how Simonson does nothing but read the USA Today sports section each day before the show. I'm actually shocked he does that, considering he mostly just cycles calls asking people for their favorite sports number.
(And yes, I know I don't have to listen; however, when you work in a factory with 100 people listening to sports radio, you can't miss it.)

Terp's voice isn't the prototypical radio voice, I'll agree. However, he really didn't even get a chance what with Baligian rambling on incessantly for large chunks of time. I can see why the PD might've thought that Terp was expendable given that Baligian did 95% of the talking.
Killer is sorely missed. He was a good guy with a lot of great insight. He also had no qualms about talking over Baligian and shutting him the hell up. RIP, big guy.
I don't recall the BVO outburst, though that's mostly because I almost never listen to the Huge Show. I'll see if I find something on it online.

glory in Grand Rapids, where so many 'fans' are suddenly apparent, often sporting just off the shelf gear. Furthermore, most act as if they have been so vociferous in their fandom over the long haul, when in fact their fervor is relatively recent.
