Rashan Gary to Announce at 1 PM on NSD on ESPN2

According to this on ESPN. This is the third different thing we've heard about Gary announcing, but this seems to be the newest and most official info.

TVH also tweeted that Gary will be in Bristol on NSD.

It's incredible that this is actually thread worthy. It is 100% thread worthy but holy moly! I shouldnt care but I totally do and it is mind boggling and/or bottling.

Personally I don't want players who pull this sort of Jimmy Clausen drama. I'm sure I've been blissfully ignorant of a few Michigan players who were like this, but I mainly remember us dodging a bullet with Terrell "Everybody Murders" Pryor. I was a lurker back then and remember a lot of people here wanted him despite evidence of a colossal ego.

We shouldn't want guys that are so talented that ESPN chases them to put them on a TV show to announce their decision, especially when our coach is keeping everything lowkey by having a giant "signing of the stars" event. Look how these announcements have ruined Alabama's culture and tradition, for example. None of those guys want to work and Saban runs a loose ship.

 

I remember when Mitch McGary went on ESPN to announce that he was coming to Michigan. Look at what a trainwreck that was for our program.

By my understanding the 3 pm time was never official—that came from someone not affiliated with ESPN—so I wouldn't read too much into the perceived time change. Still would be feeling quite optimistic about the announcement.

Crazy how much time these high school seniors miss of school leading up to NSD. At least now j will be able to see it at work on ESPN2 as opposed to streaming it on my phone while on the way home.

to add to the MGOSpeculation. I found it odd all the guests for the NSD event were ESPN guys. McShay, Howard, and Holtz.. And now Gary's announcement time has changed so conveniently to be right after the end of the event at UM.. I smell something fishy going on we don't know about! Hmmmm
