Nobody will ever guess my password. It’s the most secure password on earth! I’d like to see some random blackhatter guess that my password is  87&:@;)Ah&12as.._weQ1

No way they’ll guess that at random or via brute force. Maybe next time, hackers.

At the time, nobody thought anything about it. Heck, I used an engraver to put my SSN on my bicycle to ID it if it was ever stolen. It was a beauty...a Dutch-manufactured Pegasus c. 1972. Wish I still had it; hope hackers don't trace the bike back to me and steal my identity.

Yep, and we wrote that "student ID number" on everything.  Blue book exams, papers we handed in, you name it.  We were still doing this in 1999.  Granted, like someone mentioned, there was an additional number at the end of it, but still, people would react with horror now if that was still the policy!  And yes, I just changed my UM password on my account from 1995.  I keep it for the nostalgia.
