Devin Mignery is a class of 2026 QB for Cardinal Mooney HS in Sarasota. He’s the son of former TE Andy Mignery and track and field athlete Anna Fisher, and the grandson of Bump-era FB Dave Fisher. His team just won a state title, with him passing for 1300 yards and rushing for 900 as a QB.

Congratulations to all.

Great highlight from a sophomore!

In the spirit of the boards OT, pedantic nature, shouldn't 'truck stick' be hyphenated? ie 'truck-stick'? If you were referring to this play a week later, would it then be, 'player x truck-stuck' the LB', or does the tense change this to 'the LB was trucked'?

Alright, kidding over...time to go to work. Keep making highlights young Mignery, making a bunch of us feel old, and commit to the good guys next year.

His personal Twitter says he's 6'0" and 205# as a sophomore.

No 247 profile, but it's maybe a little early. Possibly a PWO for the '26 class?

Seems that mom was a pole vaulter, which suggests uncommon athletic ability on that side of the family tree:

I've noticed before that athlete couples (and their cyborg kids) are more common than they used to be in the "old" days. I've seen this in several sports.

That was fun to watch.  Reminds me a little of when Haskins took that half step into an OSU corner in 2021, knocked him over, and carried on for another 10 yards, or so...

Congrats, young Mr Mignery!
