get in on Eron Gordon instead. Still uncommitted. Still a top 150 recruit. Still doesn't have to sit out a year.

I know we pursued him earlier in the process. Now Gordon is saying Big East or Sun Belt will be his destiniation. JB should get in his ear and sell him on the Big 10.

Jordan Poole has a VERY nice handle and decent court vision. We can get by in a pinch with him playing PG if necessary in 2017. Save this scholarship for a player who can make an impact.

i think i trust JB's eye for talent, especially at guard, than any of you naysayers.  the kid shot 52% for 2 and 32% from 3 thus far in his career.  maybe JB wants an experienced point guard on the roster after walton leaves.  this kid along with simpson fits that bill.

i'm sure JB is weighing that experience and potential vs another incoming frosh point guard for 17-18.  it's actually a very smart hedge, if JB thinks the kid has the talent to run the PG position in his system.
