For those wondering why he is praising Michigan, it's b/c his next game is against sparty (in Minnesota), and he probably wanted to see what sparty does not have to offer.

Think about what this means in connection to the sign-stealing stuff:
PJ Fleck isn't interested in watching what Michigan did because there's not a reasonable expectation of Minnesota to be able to reproduce it.
In other words, in his very well-informed professional opinion, Michigan isn't killing everyone because they know what is coming or know what to do against it. Michigan is killing everyone because they can play a brand of football that no one else can play.

If it comes to that Michigan has some awesome choices. Harbaugh really built something great. I have a feeling things will work out even if Harbaugh has to fall on the sword. Lots of great branches in the Harbaugh tree.

Depending on the severity (all speculative), it’s possible that Michigans athletic department wants to hire from the outside to avoid more things coming to light. I have no clue of the nuances, but something to consider.

I think Santa probably doesn't care, Ward is a pud, and the Board would be crazy not to look into someone who would continue the same schematics and culture that Harbaugh instilled. They all just need to remember what happened when we changed the teams identity under Rich Rod, then let a Pud in Dave Brandon pick his coach. Sherrone Would be my first choice and keep as many assistants as possible.

There was a play where the Michigan Coaches saw something called wrong, and both Harbaughs were running to correct. Can't remember what it was (the ref's caught it) but it was funny to me to see them both run to correct it.
Although I never said anything publicly, I definitely thought that Jay shouldn't have the position when he first started. More than happy to eat crow on that thought. Both Harbaugh brothers have built a great network of coaches they have developed. Whoever takes over next, I hope can keep a lot of the great coaches (ex players) on staff to keep this team pumping along. Still want Jim to stay for a while.

I like sherrone but he’s simply not ready. The only coach I’d consider on our current staff is Minter. He’s just a flat out genius. I would hope we do our due diligence and look at outside candidates especially coaches that have actually been head coaches. We’re not a tune up program to hire a never been head coach. For one, deboer would be a home run if we can entice him. Can’t ever be limited in a coaching search and I’d hope Michigan is smart enough to know that and not just hire from within bc it feels like a “Michigan” thing to do

No way. It has to be someone with P5 head coaching experience and at least 2 national championships because we have rich donors and no one else does and this is a prime destination.

I won’t make any wagers on Fleck being the next guy (though I’d say it’s Moore or Minter), but if Fleck does end up with the job through some abysmal trades of errors, it will make very sad.
