I'm actually enjoying that fact.  A whole bunch of people that said he sucked and was overrated are changing their tune awfully suddenly.

Living in OH, a lot of my friends are Browns/OSU fans and I'm hearing a completely different story from them now than I was a couple months ago.

Im just glad he got drafted in the 1st round. So many people have been talking shit about him. So many "experts" said he wasnt good enough for the first round.

He tweeted out "draft day" and assholes were replying "Not for you! Thats tommorrow". Was pissing me off reading what people were saying about him

Oh boo hoo. He will be a go to guy in Cleveland whereas he might not have gotten much playing time early elsewhere. He will be just fine. So many saying he wouldn't be a first round pick because he is too small for this position or doesn't have the ball skills for that position, blah blah blah. Dude is a football player and a damn good one.

My half brother is from OH and is a huge OSU fan and hates Michigan. I texted him after the Browns took Peppers thinking he'd be pissed, but he texted back "damn good pick."

They didn't reach on a QB. They got the concensus #1 pick. And they got our guy, who was probably considered a consensus top 5 pick before the Iowa debacle. Things lookin up in Cleveland?

The pick sure upset what passes for an analyst over at CBS. It's as if the guy has never heard of personnel packages and different responsibilities based on size and skills. Still... Cleveland. The cap means you can turn a team around in a couple of years with smart moves. The Browns have a lot of picks, so if starts to click behind the quarterback du jour, they might be decent in 2018. It's not like Chicago, which just pulled a Ditka to get the inexperienced North Carolina gunslinger. Given what they paid, he had better be Peyton Manning. I feel worse for Bears fans than Browns fans right now.
