(Paywalled): The Athletic ranks the top 20 Interior OL Draft prospects. Guess who's #1.
I'm hoping they won't hunt me down if I reveal that Zak Zinter is the big dog in this year's crop of guards and centers and Michigan 3 of the top 20. We're in good hands up front.

Took a while to recover from RRods vision of 6'1" 250lb O-linemen beating the crap out of (or outrunning?) their 6'5" 350lb counterparts, but we are back to being O-Line U. Maybe these Madden, Schembechler, Harbaugh types know or knew something the rest of us didn't.
Please stop. Taylor Lewan and Michael Schofield were both Rodriguez recruits, and Lewan is one of the best OTs to ever play at Michigan. Rich Rod sucked, but let's not change facts to fit the narrative.
Also one of the douche-est.
Quote from RR on Notre Dame's linemen:
"Their lineman are so big they could eat peanuts off our linemen's heads."
That kind of sums it up.
A couple of reality-based points:
- As someone else noted, O-line recruiting was a relative strength of the Rodriguez regime.
- With the exception of a couple of players, Michigan stopped being O-line U around the turn of the century.
Taylor Lewan, Michael Schofield, and William Campbell were all recruited by Rodriguez, and they each spent time in the NFL. Chris Bryant was a pretty good recruit who had injury issues, and he's been working in the recruiting department since he graduated. Not an NFL notch on the belt, but definitely a win for the program.

I mean this as a joke and not to be a grammar nazi.
C'mon Grampy, the article says 3 of the top 15, not top 20, unless I can't count.
You better lawyer up grampy.
Thanks for posting. I'd prefer a title like this:
"Athletic ranks Zinter #1 interior O-lineman; two other Wolverines in top twenty."
Conveys the important information, gives me the option of chasing details if desired.
Nugent and Keegan?
Keegan and Henderson (who is classed "interior" there).
I read somewhere (can't remember where, I read too much about Michigan football) that the OL 2-deep are all considered NFL prospects.
Last year's OL saved the Joe Moore Award presenters on freight since they didn't have to ship the traveling trophy to another destination. This year's group should do the same.
There are seven OL guys on the team who are under consideration for Senior Bowl invites. I'm not sure that the rest of the guys in the two-deep are already draft prospects, but I'm sure NFL scouts are keeping an eye on basically everyone in Michigan's program at this point.
We won't hunt if you just reveal it in the fucking title. You're not getting paid for clicks so cut it out with the stupid clickbait.
That’s why I have named him ZZ Top…
every NFL GM crazy about U of M lineman
“The Top Interior OL the Government Does NOT Want You to Know About!”
i for one am glad that PFF is not the government
"Defensive lines hate these guys the most - #3 will shock you!"
It's also probably not even crazy to say that next year we will have multiple guys on this last as well. El Hadi is going to be a beast
You WON'T BELIEVE who's #2!!
Remember Gordie Howe said to Jack Hood your the second best ref,, Jack asked who's No.!?
Everone else. good days at the Lindell AC.
