over/underon how many TD's Denard ends up with this season

Submitted by CheckOutMyRod on

Was just wondering what everyone thought the total # of TD's Denard will end up with this season. I know we dont know if he will start at qb yet. I'm going with theover/under at 12.

I think Denard will have the outright starters job by the Uconn game, and with that hopefully he scores 20+ TDs this year. Even though Tate will get better this year, Denard just seems to be progressing at a much faster rate.

My NCAA Football '11 version of Robinson will score approximately 37. He is destined for the achievement earned for passing, rushing and receiveing a TD in one game.

Denard playing against a terrible second string D with first offense isn't very impressive. I was more impressed by Forcier scoring against the first team D with mostly Freshmen and second stringers on offense.

If Denard starts an important conference game and doesn't do very well, you could get clobbered by people jumping off.

Even if Denard Robinson doesn't start over Tate he could still score 12 tds. if he does start i think he could double that. we are going score alot of points! GO MICHIGAN!

Well Forcier had 16 total last year (13 passing, 3 rushing).  I expect our offensive production to greatly improve and think Denard will be the starter the majority of the year.  Denard could hopefully score 25+ total.

The Maximum TDs Dilithium can get is 32.5 based on my perhaps failed attempt at logic and/or MATLAB.

MATLAB

dilithiumgame = 13;
dilithiumplay = 30;
td = 0;
for dilithiumgame = 1:1:13
       for dilithiumplay = 1:1:30
            td = dilithiumplay * dilithiumgame / 12;
       end
end

td = 32.5

My logic is that Denard will play 13 games, 30 plays/game, and score every 12 plays. Looking back at this, a simple multiplication could have been just fine. Whateva!

I'll go with 14 because of Tate seeing time as well.

I'd still love to see Devin redshirt so I hope these 2 can be effective all year long.
