OT: Tigers vs. Indians open thread/Drinking thread

This Tigers' offense is off to another fast start today. Gose hit a leadoff homer, and then Kinsler later came in to score. 2-0 Tigers going into the bottom of the 1st. With Price on the mound this is looking good so far! Eat 'em up Tigers!

I'm enjoying a great local double IPA offering from Orpheus called Transmigration of Souls while watching the game. Lots of citrus and it drinks like a lower abv beer despite being 10%.

Was chilling outside for a bit taking in this great weather drinking an Anchor Liberty Ale. Now I am inside watching Daredevil on Netflix and drinking a Lagunitas Undercover Shut-down ale.

Really optimistic on Gose. I guess he was somewhat of a prospect but the Blue Jays lost patience with his bat. That glove though. Two really good plays already today.

Love this team's defense up the middle. This is probably the first team under Dombrowski I would call good at defense.

and momma and i just took them out to pizza, the four of us.  they did 7 miles (albeit, slowly) with me and their older brothers this morning, then it was chainsaw time - felling trees. we will buck and limb the trees later this week.   gifts tonight for the twins, and at that time i'll be having a little red pop.

Up in Ann Arbor. Took my son, a couple roommates and their parents to Blue Tractor. I had the Pig Cream Ale and their amber lager. Decent. Not earth shaking. Back at the house watching the Masters.

No doubt the big bats at the front of the line up havent been as fun to watch as the guys in the back of the lineup(I am a fundementals dork). I'm liking this Gose guy and Kinsler came up huge today. I am just hoping Vmart didnt tweek his knee to badly today.

Unfortunate, Price was skating around some sketchy command for the best few innings, but he gets out of jail clean if he just makes that toss to 2nd.

Gorzelanny? I admittedly don't follow the Tigers' farm system as much as I should so is this guy any good? Never heard of him and don't remember him from last year. Left handed arms are nice, but then he leaves one in the zone. Yay bullpen!
