OT - Tebow Blasphemy

Submitted by hennedance on
Picked this up on a slow day... It recently became apparent that Tim Tebow was not a unanimous vote for All-SEC quarterback, with Jevon Snead garnering one vote. Since coaches can't vote for their own players (meaning 11 out of 12 votes is a unanimous vote), one coach (other than Urban Meyer) did not vote for Tebow. OMG right?! what are you going to do? Well if your ESPN "journalist" Chris Low, you will begin a week-long witch hunt for the "dissenter". Because his holiness Tebow is just that immaculate, this blasphemer needs to be brought to justice by swift investigatory journalism. You go girl... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4350661

if this media love affair with Tebow were to get any more disgusting I don't know what I'd do. So someone doesn't think he is the best QB in the SEC...Someone should take this journalist (and I use the term losely) out back and give him a good ass kickin' for being such an obtuse jackass!

I see this playing out 2 ways: More likely scenario: every coach in the SEC points his finger in a different direction until the true answer is leaked is a couple months -or- Less likely but still possible: The "Old Ball Coach" gets in front of the story and publicly admits that he should have never left UF, was a total failure in the NFL (in every aspect except his ability to cash giant checks), and still resents that South Carolina can't wash UF's jocks in terms of record and talent.

Yeah I posted this a week ago and all signs pointed to Lane Kiffin. I actually thought you were writing about Tebow at Media Day today where he was asked if he was a virgin and he said yes. My friends and I are currently debating if we think it is true or not. Thoughts...

He is probably telling the truth because any girl at UF who managed to de-viginize Tim Tebow would be a school legend. I have a lot of friends at UF and no one has ever mentioned anything like this and the athletes tend to have their lives scrutinized pretty heavily by the female population there.

Honestly? That is fucked up. Whoever asked that question is the biggest douche bag reporter in the Tim Tebow love affair. When Tebow said "yes I am a virgin", I bet he followed it up with a grin on his face asking "Would you like to lose your V-card?".

The SEC and ESPN planned jointly to contract with CSI to investigate which SEC coach did not vote for Tebow. The offending coach was to receive a one year suspension. However, at the 11th hour, right before pen was about to be put to paper, God called out with praise for the SEC and ESPN but implored them not to investigate this crime. God, a huge Tebow fan, explained he knows who the offender is and rather than punish him with a one year suspension God will subject him to eternal damnation. He further warned all those who deny the godliness of the Tebow. I hope we all heed his words.

It's gotta be "The OLE BALL COACH" Steve Spurrier right? I can't think of anybody else that would not vote for the chosen one.

But no one can argue he isn't the first-team SEC QB based on talent, stats, or accomplishments. So IMO you can't fault them for making an issue of this, given the absence of any other college football news. Now excuse me--I'm busy making children just so that I can name them all Tim Tebow.

I can't believe I gave up several minutes of my life to actually go and read that article. I'm now going to find a grapefruit spoon and scoop out my eyeballs.

What I am about to say is the truth 1. I am on vacation at the beach right now in South Carolina 2. My wife thinks I am on this site too much 3. My wife grew up in Gainesville and went to Florida 4. Tonight I was on MGo and she saw I was reading this Tebow thread 5. She had one or two cocktails 6. When I got up to get a drink, she started typing. PLEASE - don't treat me like Bouje on account of my wife. Those were her words not mine. Tomorrow I will make up for it with something of albeit OT interest
