OT: T. Boone Pickens dead at 91
Noted Ok State sugar daddy, oil tycoon and wind energy proponent T. Boone Pickens has passed. A controversial and polarizing figure, but no one can doubt this man cast a large shadow. On a CFB note, he was well known for his rocky working relationship with coach Mike Gundy... but he's a man - he's (at least) 40!

He was a very prominent businessman back in the day. I remember seeing him speak at the U-M business school back in the mid-80's. RIP T-Boone.

I actually thought he was already gone, to be honest, but 91 is one nice run.

I actually know one of his kids....rumor is he was not nearly as rich as some speculated. Possibly even bordering on bankruptcy a few years back when nat gas bets didn't go his way. Family is kind of screwed up...some estranged members. Also lost his grandson a few years back to an OD.
