I actually believe stanford is one of the very few schools he would listen, especially now that his team lost 1 this year and reality is setting in that boise state will not be put into the title game.

Peterson has been offered far better jobs and has shown no inerest. The only way i could see him leaving BS (Boise St.!!) is when he realizes he will never play for the NC!!! Take the job while u still have a chance

At Stanford he'll be walking right into a National Championship caliber team in a relatively weak Pac-12 that will be getting a lot more national attention (it's really just between Oregon and Stanford for the title). Boise State is also about to leave the Wack WAC and head to the Mountain West where they'll have to deal with the likes of BYU and Nevada so those undefeated seasons might not come so easy to them anymore.

He loves it here in Boise, and they love him here. He is not making as much money as he could elsewhere, but then again, the money goes a lot further here than in Palo Alto.
