OT: Soccer Saturday!
Come on guy who used to start these, I don't have near the ability in your formatting and knowledge.
Mostly battles of relegation status today.
The big fish of the day is going on as we speak. Chelsea v Tottenham in the FA Cup. Kane just had a crazy equilizer with some backwards header.

I'd be okay with them losing this game and imploding in the EPL. Which it looks like they may do. Had a pretty substantial lead in the table and now are only up 3 or 4 on Tottenham.
Chelsea has 2 EPL losses since November. They're not impolding, the Spurs are just red hot.
My son scored a total of 1 goal through 2 full years of soccer.
Today he scored 4 goals, and also had a clean sheet for the quarter he played in goal. I don't know what happened over the summer, but it's like watching a completely different kid play the game. I'm super pumped, and congrats to your daughter. Mine's still working on her first...
Freaking Legend!
In allowing both those Chelsea goals, dumb fouls led to easy chances for the Blues. Best match of the day is Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia Monchengladbach in Bundesliga.
The Ligue 1 race is still tight: PSG just won to move into first place (80 points), but Monaco (77 points) has two games in hand and takes on Lyon tomorrow. Both PSG/Monaco are on long winning streaks.
I'd like to see Monaco win the league but wonder if the added grind of Champions' League play may catch up to them.
Take the money.
Don't worry about the other people who downvote. There is a large number of us that appreciate these threads, and would much rather talk about it compared to threads about Harbaugh meeting the Pope. That shit doesn't matter to me, this is at least a sport happening currently and not a fluff piece.
You'll get there.
...because I miss it so damn much.
Still can't find a highlight or recap DVD anywhere.
