My wife’s brother honest-to-god died from falling from a slippery rock, so I definitely can’t wear those shirts. Also every time the score is announced in the stadium it gets very uncomfortable.

SRU alum here. Always disliked a lot of their merchandise bc it looked too much like sparty.
The UM/SRU correlation is pretty cool though. Never knew there was a connection til after I graduated.

Shippensburg State (now Shippensburg University) beat Slippery Rock pretty handily when they played at the Big House in 1979.
