Thread jack: alternatives to Stub Hub
I went to buy 2 seats for a game. Good seats, $80 per. At check out the fees were $20 a seat! That is 25% of the price. I think that is ridiculous.
What other good options are there? As empty as Crisler has been this year, I'm guessing scalpers outside the stadium are the way to go.

I agree with the guy who said not worth it. The seats are really far away, and the TV cameras are right in the line of sight.
Terrible set up IMO.

The wife and I watched it while getting our Christmas cards ready.
We don't have kids though, although I'd like to think there are lessons for them in that movie as well. Self-reliance, sticking up for yourself, appropriate places to fornicate with heavy women. You know, the basics.

Bad Santa all the way. Followed closely by Christmas Vacation.
I'm surprised Bad Santa hasn't gotten more love here. Surprised, and a little sad.

LOL, 'end in regulation'. Like the first game won't feature 45 fouls and end 45 minutes late.

There is a lot downtown on Ashley (1 block west of Main) behind Connor O'Neils, Gratzi, Chop House, etc. It will cost ~$12 probabaly if you are there all afternoon.
Park there, have lunch at any of the restaruants downtown (I suggest Jolly Pumpkin).
Then walk about a mile to the Stadium.
I've been doing that ever since Pioneer went to $50.

10, 9, 8, and 6 should happen immediately. Alter 8 to not apply in the last 2 minutes of the game.
7 - Will always be a split second judgement call, but anything that can be done to improve consistency would be welcome
5 - Would be ideal, but so different from existing system that it will likely never happen, even with real-world example in other sports
4/3 - Great ideas, see #5. You could also drastically decrease the disparity in odds to get in the lottery. If it weren't that different from worst to #14, then maybe there wouldn't be so much tanking?
2 - Yes
1 - Delays from dudes in latex gloves cleaning up may disrupt flow of game. Unless coaches must cut off in advance, then only have that many to use?

We play @ Washington and home against VT in 2020.
It has been suggested by several people to do a 2 on, 2 off setup. That would fit with the current schedule in 2020/21, then have ND back on in 2022/2023.
And yes, if we start at ND in 2018 that will be a MAJOR downer. I can't imagine our AD would agree to that.

Agreed, I hope a max of ONE of Johnson/McDoom play. Preferably the one who is more likely to slide outside in year 2 or 3. Well, preferably neither, but I am going to bet that at least one will play.

I like to consider myself a huge Michigan fan. I can recall many a memorable play in my 30 years of going to games. But of all the things I've catalogued in my brain, top 3rd down plays is not among them.
Did you know the specifics of these without looking them up? If so....slow clap....slow clap...

8 pretty solidly in the W column:
Bowling Green, Tulsa, Rutgers, Indiana, Northwestern, Nebraska all at home. @ PSU and @ Maryland
So they'd just need to win one of :
@ Oklahoma, @Wisco, @MSU, UM
They'll get to 9 pretty easily.

With McCray being around two more years and some other guys that may be better prepared to contribute this year, I’d really like to see him redshirt this year.
I see him as a guy who could come on strong later in his career, and if he doesn’t RS this year he will be one of those guys going into his senior year where we say ‘Man, I’d love to have him for two more years instead of one.’
There are cases when the experience gained in a true Fr year is greater the potential contributions as a RS senior. With EMB I think that is heavily skewed towards the RS Sr year contributions.

If you're going to play him at the 4, he needs to be a more consistent asset at that end. he was 0-3 on wide open threes early in the game. oh yeah, stop driving to the basket too.

Re: Game ... blouses - That is my favorite Dave Chapelle skip. Amazing. I encourage as many references to is as possible
Re: 5-2 - we would probably have the same record even if Lavert was playing. Maybe a win at Iowa? But otherwise if we can sit him the next two games and get W's then his injury would really have had no impact to the team (definitely sucks for him though)
Re: Walton - a warrior, and I love his game, but a few times a game there is a play that leaves me scrathing my head. Nobody can be perfect, and he is by far a +++ point guard, I guess perfection is an unrealistic expectation.

Sorry if this is as tired a question as the medical redshirt rules, but how does it work with Grad transfers?
My mostly uninformed impression was that the school had to offer a program that the original school didn't. The recruiting round up indicated he wanted to get his MBA.
Since Texas obviously has their MBA program, does this rule extend to specializations within the grad program? Like he needs to concentrate in something that the Texas MBA program doesn't have? That seems odd and hard to enforce.
I'm guessing I'm missing something.

Shafer and London from UVa on the defensive staff? Good hires from a name recognition stand point if nothing else. Plus a DB coach from Alabama. should be a well coached unit.

I'm not on Twitter, but it isn't like that at all. People put stuff out on Twitter to be viewed, fully knowing strangers may see it. No one walks around their house thinking it is ok for people to be looking in through their window. Get off your high horse.
That said, I'm totally for not tweeting at strangers. That IS creepy.

NFL to college is ok for defensive position coaches like Jackson, and in fact may be preferrable due to the recruiting draw. But I am with Brian on not wanting a DC straight from the NFL (whether it be from a DC job or position coach).
The offenses are so different between college and the NFL that the guy in charge of formations and scheme needs to be familiar with the variations in scheme and variations within a given scheme.
