OT- Shots fired at Bank of America on Packard

Submitted by Purkinje on

Just got the text from DPS. That's scary. I don't think shots have been fired during a crime here in a long while. Don't go to the bank today!

weird because i was working at GTCharley's monday afternoon and we saw a guy roughly matching the description AAPD sent out that walked up to our door, looked in for a brief second, and turned around and quickly walked away.  maybe he was casing places around AA and settled on bank of america

Walking up to the front door, looking in and walking away is not "casing the place"... more likely looking for a friend or checking your hours.

Only description I've seen so far is black males in their 20's of average height, wearing sweatshirts and sweatpants... so I'm not surprised you saw the "suspects" this week.

My wife was a bank teller at one time and was robbed.  Guy said he had a gun though didn't show it - luckily, she just handed the cash over and nothing bad happened.  Freaky to get the call from her though, especially when the conversation starts "I am at the police station..."

I certainly hope no one was hurt.

My house is three blocks from that bank and my kids preschool is on the same block. Scary is right. I called her and told her to lock the doors but she was already aware and preschool was cancelled. Messed up.

Get a phone call/message (when said call was ignored) describing in detail the suspects. I don't know if it was a UM service or what but it was incomplete and almost incoherent. I am not a Bank of America customer but I know that this specific branch has been robbed before and fairly recently I believe.
