Fortunately it's pretty far South of campus, on Packard and Eisenhower. Definitely still scary though.

Yeah, but .25 mile from my house, and both my kids' schools have been locked-down all day! Remember, we aren't all students here... ;-)

Thanks for the heads up (not that it matters to me since I'm in NW Ohio, but it matters for those in A2). Hopefully no body was hurt.

Why is Sparty still in A2, don't they know the game was over a week ago?
October 21st, 2010 at 11:24 AM ^
Well Cissoko is still in the pen, right? So yeah, gotta be Sparty.
October 21st, 2010 at 11:42 AM ^
Not funny - the direction of this kid's once promising life is a tragedy.
October 21st, 2010 at 1:38 PM ^
And it isn't for the various MSU players that are now inmates?
October 21st, 2010 at 2:31 PM ^
He didn't make any comment regarding the State players. Learn 2 reading comprehension.

What's the over/under on the number of day's between the arrest and the time that Dantonio let's the Sparty felon De Jour return to the team???
October 21st, 2010 at 11:19 AM ^
Sorry coach, I hate when he looks at me like that
October 21st, 2010 at 11:33 AM ^
doesn't Martin have a board position on it?
OMG CONSPIRACY
October 21st, 2010 at 12:24 PM ^
But Martin's financial institution is the Bank of Ann Arbor, not Bank of America.

i appreciate the clarification

Schools are on lock-down and the suspects still at large. Let's hope that no one else is hurt before the suspects are caught.
October 21st, 2010 at 12:02 PM ^
This is now national news. Crazy.

weird because i was working at GTCharley's monday afternoon and we saw a guy roughly matching the description AAPD sent out that walked up to our door, looked in for a brief second, and turned around and quickly walked away. maybe he was casing places around AA and settled on bank of america
October 21st, 2010 at 2:34 PM ^
Walking up to the front door, looking in and walking away is not "casing the place"... more likely looking for a friend or checking your hours.
Only description I've seen so far is black males in their 20's of average height, wearing sweatshirts and sweatpants... so I'm not surprised you saw the "suspects" this week.
October 21st, 2010 at 5:14 PM ^
There was much more to the description that I saw earlier. It gave much more detail about the suspects' clothing.
October 21st, 2010 at 12:39 PM ^
Yes i know it is spelled differently. It is still the first thing I thought of when I read the title.

My wife was a bank teller at one time and was robbed. Guy said he had a gun though didn't show it - luckily, she just handed the cash over and nothing bad happened. Freaky to get the call from her though, especially when the conversation starts "I am at the police station..."
I certainly hope no one was hurt.
October 21st, 2010 at 2:04 PM ^
My house is three blocks from that bank and my kids preschool is on the same block. Scary is right. I called her and told her to lock the doors but she was already aware and preschool was cancelled. Messed up.

FIRE RICH ROD
October 21st, 2010 at 4:03 PM ^
Indeed, this was cleary his fault. Most likely it was someone afflicted with FANger due to the loss last week.
October 21st, 2010 at 2:12 PM ^
Get a phone call/message (when said call was ignored) describing in detail the suspects. I don't know if it was a UM service or what but it was incomplete and almost incoherent. I am not a Bank of America customer but I know that this specific branch has been robbed before and fairly recently I believe.
