OT: RIP Ken Calvert
Longtime fixture of Detroit radio, and his booming voice was the voice of The Palace when the Bad Boys were dominating. It was so impressive if you were there watching a game in person.

Great voice - 80s era WRIF would have been great regardless, but between Calvert, JJ, Rock and Roll HOF inductee Steve Kostan and the legendary Arthur P - there was a lot of radio and voice talent there.
I came of age in the 90s (born in the late Carter administration), so I knew Calvert and JJ more from CSX. But they were in my rotation - I had summer jobs driving delivery trucks, 95% of my listening was DFN, CSX or the WRIF. The other 5% was Tigers games!

Great video!
That said, it’s hilarious that Brendan Malone’s highlight is Isiah choking him! Isiah was pissed! He was really pissed at Bill Cartwright, and obviously not Malone (shoot, Isiah hired Malone to his first HC job with the Raptors about ten years later). But Isiah definitely has menace in his eyes.
