love stafford and happy he got a ring in LA, but i don't think we have missed him one bit with the way goff has been playing basically since the second half of his first season here. guy throws a good ball, gets it into tight windows, doesn't throw hospital balls.

One of the few blockbuster trades where both teams seemed to have won the trade. Rams won it short term, and they made no secret it was about the now. Lions appear to have won the trade long term.

Seems like once Flacco won the Super Bowl and got that extension, he just mailed it in for the rest of his career.
He got his ring, he got his big fat paycheck, so he was content to ride the gravy train the rest of the way.

Flacco actually had a better completion percentage and roughly the same QBR for the next 5 years after the Super Bowl run. He was just always mediocre.

Flacco wasn’t good the year they won the Super Bowl. He was a sub 60% passer that year and his QBR was below average. He had a good defense and hit a couple of nice deep balls in the playoffs. Otherwise he was what he was his entire career. Mediocre.
