That's uncalled for an offensive.
However, LeBron's extra wide headband IS hilarious.
I choose to believe this was such an over the top insult that it actually was meant to mock the Lebron haters.
LBJ out-rebounded Durant 14-6. That's making it really difficult for me to buy into the "Durant is THE new Basketball God" meme that surfaced after game one.
I do hate it when I get outrebounded by US Presidents from the 60s.
I would prefer the team representing Oklahoma City defeat the team representing Miami. There are players (no a single player actually) who plays for the team from Miami who I do not care for very much. I would like to see the team he plays for lose as I take issue with the concept of a championship celebration given in advance of the championship itself in addition to the hubris created by said player'smethod of announcing his selection of the team he chose to play for.
you hate the heat and lebron. we get it.
I want LeBron to win. His abandonment of Ohio should be rewarded.
Wow...the officials are in rare form even by NBA standards. The only good thing is that they appear to be sucking equally for and against both teams at this point.
Case in point - Miller did NOT block on Harden's drive and Haslem DID jump into and through the Thunder player (not sure who it was) and the initial call went against OKC.
I actually like Lebron. I think the hate he gets is way over the top, and feel for him because of that. Beyond that, I think he's made a real effort to change his image after realizing the villian role didn't fit him, and it takes a lot of maturity to do that. I'm a believer in second chances, and I think he's earned his (though I'm obviously in the minority).
/ducks
Wait you actually think he chose to be a villian? The reason he seems like a villian is because his choices are poorly thought out, not because he made a choice to be a villian.
I think once the hate started rolling in he embraced it instead of trying to fight back from the get-go. I don't think he chose to be the villian, but I also don't think he tried to adress that perception until this year.
I can see that. He was probably all "I don't give a fuck. I'm rich. Buy my shoes, bitch."
"I've grown accustomed to it. I enjoy it. ... I've kind of accepted this villain role everyone has placed on me. I'm OK with it. I accept it.
Go Sonics. Fuck the Association.
I cant like the heat since Wade was handed a title by stern back in 06. So because of that reason I would like to see everyone associated with the heat lose.
THE ROBOTS ARE TAKING OVER!!! (Please tell me that's an ABC problem not just my TV)
Are the humans dead?
I poked one, it was dead.
So LeBron is really in a good situation right now. Win or lose, he's going to keep living his life and doing the things he wants to with his family. Unfortunately for all of us, at the end of the day we all have to wake up tomorrow and have the same lives that we had before we woke up today. We'll have the same personal problems we had today.
I'm sure there's a wise lesson to be found in there.
I like my life. It's Lebron and his enormous ego and I cannot stand. To have the gall to "not one, not two, not three, etc" when he hadn't yet....I dunno... won ONE...was the pinnacle of arrogance to me. He was sure that by assembling the SuperFriends network II he would automatically get multiple championships.
That actually bothers me more than his ridiculous televised "decision".
All his basis? He doesn't want to be a Pre-Madonna.
Actually, LeBron is taking correspondence courses to become a CPA. He was referring to the tax basis of his investments.
my hate is mainly of the entire NBA and the fact that for me at least it is now worse than it was durign the "jordan rules"....I mean guys are getting the benefit of a whistle for literally falling down on their own free will.
Bulls need to get a little younger and I think need to find someone to replace Boozer. Hamilton has about 2 yrs left and Noah/Gibson are solid young guys.
David Stern said so.
Why is it that NBA fans chant "DE-FENSE" while college basketball fans scream "OOOOOOH!" when their teams are on D? Does one work better than the other?
I don't think either works better, I think it's because NBA fans are more reliant on PA guys to start chants. Generally you will hear the announcer shout D-Fense and then the fans joining in, whereas in college the fans just shout without any prompt. You still do hear the D-Fense chant in college btw, just less often.
