OT: Mgo Red Wings. predictions

Submitted by Fat Bastard on
I predict: Wings 3 - Ducks 1. Pavel, Franzen and Lidstrom with goals. 40 shots on goal for DTW. Ozzy turns away 28. Pronger bloodies Holmstrom in the 2nd.

Wings 4-2. Franzen continues his hot streak, Ozzie is serviceable as usual, another huge game from Jonathon Ericsson, Datsyuk ends his cold streak (he's due for a breakout). Hossa erases all doubt with an empty net goal with about 1-2 minutes left. BRING ON THE HAWKS!

think it looks like they pour motor oil on that ice!? I've never seen so many pucks being missed by sticks during scoring chances.

The wings cant control a rebound at all...Hiller has given up some VERY juicy rebounds but the puck has bounced the wrong way every time. ALSO, someone send a text to Babcock telling Helm to SHOOT THE PUCK!!!

Yeah, you know, Wings fans are pretty much exempt from making this kind of comment given the whole octopus thing. And to clarify, I'm a Wings fan.

Well the whole octopus thing is a tradition. It has a purpose. Throwing bottles, food, etc. on the ice probably does not have a purpose.

2 goals apiece by Hossa and Franzen. Wings HAVE to win. I've been smelling a Detroit/Chicago conference final for weeks. And Chicago did their part by dispensing with the Fuckincafuckinuckifucks. LET'S go RED wings!!

stoked! Never been to a game 7. Jesus, I hope we're not disappointed, because I won't be getting home til 2 am and have a major meeting Friday morning.
