Quick NCAA hockey tournament note. Minnesota is getting blown out against Minnesota Duluth right now. 4-0 Duluth after 2. Considering Minnesota was widely considered the most talented team in the country going into the season, you have to think the weakness of Big Ten hockey is hurting them playing Duluth out of the fairly strong NCHC. It's unfortunate that Michigan hockey got thrown into such a small, weak league. The CCHA and WCHA split was much, much better.

I've got UCLA / Gonzaga over here, where there has been a minor offensive explosion after a six-minute stretch that could only be considered offensive if you enjoy, you know, making buckets. On the other hand, my sister's husband - who is a Wolfpack fanatic and NC State grad - has left specific instructions not to be bothered this evening.

Can Oklahoma just win please? I am so sick of hearing how izzo is the greatest coach of all time. I also heard vitale on sports center say that if Msu was healthy last season they would have won the championship. If I recall correctly Msu had everyone back for march madness.

Everyone was back but Appling was a shell of his former self. Check his stats from the beginning of the season and then at the end. Think he hit 2 three pointers in the last half of the season. Other than that they were healthy though. Not like they lost to someone bad - they lost to the champs. Vitale is a goon.

Either way, I just opened Rittenhouse straight rye whisky. Smooth. I bought it because it was supposed to be a Thomas Handy clone. It does have some hints of vanilla on the finish that I like and it is not pricey. I don't have brackets, just squares. I missed 3 games last night by 1 or 2 points at $200 for a win in this round. Cheers!

Turning off the basketball before the Staee game to catch up on Better Call Saul. Staee will win by double digits.

it's going to be hard for the outside shooters to get a feel for their shot as the dome is blacked out where they aren't playing the game. UCLA really suffered with that in the first game there; Gonzaga had a better inside game and that was the difference.
