Well, it could be the fact that MSU is in a laughably weak region facing a 10-loss 3 seed and a 2-seed with their best player injured, but since you have Izzo's dick so far down your throat, I doubt you even considered that.

Since the post-season started they've beaten the KenPom #37, #32, #21, #13, and #4 teams, with one loss, coming to the #3 team in overtime. Give credit where credit is due.

Not sure about that. MSU didn't look very good tonight. Pitino is an awesome tourney coach. Pitino seems to do good H2H versus Izzo.

How do you get a middle of the pack Big 12 team and middle of the pack ACC team in your sweet 16/elite 8. Why are all of the good teams in other regions like Kentucky, Duke, Arizona etc. We all know that if Michigan gets in we'd be placed as the 8 seed next to Kentucky. The media wants Izzo to get back to a final four so much that he's in the nobodies region.

Virginia was never any good and its pretty obvious they are only a regular season team.
The teams probably laughing are the winner of Gonzaga-Duke.
Whoever wins that game basically has a cakewalk to the Final Game.

Dudes, we played a 15, a 7 and an 11 to get to our elite 8 last year and then lost to an 8. MSU this year played a 10, a strong 2 and a so so 3, now they have to go through a strong 4 if they want to make the Final 4. Let's not be delusional, Izzo now owns the record for most wins in the NCAA as a lower seed.

Virginia is one of the weaker 2 seeds. They lost their last 2/3 before the tourney. If you want a strong 2 seed look at Arizona.

Per LineMakers, this year's Michigan team would have been five point dogs in the first round against Georgia and double-digit dogs to both Virginia and Oklahoma.
So teams are incapable of winning as underdogs? If you went by that logic, Virginia should have advanced relatively easily as 5 point faves.

I remember when I saw the bracket that they had the easiest one and it was stated on here in the selection night thread if i remember correctly. No Duke, no Arizona, no Kentucky. I thought that if they got past virginia it could be a cake walk for them. Sadly, it was true.

They're a consensus Top-20 team that's been trending upwards and has one of the most successful NCAA Tournament coaches of all time. A little luck and a lot of skill have combined to give them a nice little run which includes wins against two really, really tough teams.
