OT: Kenny Mayne out at ESPN

Was obviously a diminished presence in the network in recent years, but it’s one more casualty from what for a lot of us is the network’s mid-90s Golden age. The other SportsCenter folks from that era left seem to be shunted into other hosting duties, like Rece Davis and Chris Fowler. Otherwise it’s SVP and guys like John Anderson, plus maybe Linda “12 the hard way” Cohn.
Whomever replaces him will have to yell a lot and spew hawt takes.
Seems on par for ESPN
Maybe he will replace Rick Rizz.
I just wished they'd only show Ashley Brewer, and then when she has a vacation day, Cari Champion.
Ashley Brewer is quite easily the best looking woman ESPN has ever employed. Muy caliente. I also have a thing for Maria Taylor.
I am still over here hanging out at Katie Nolan island, but damn they have basically shut her down on ESPN. Her days are numbered - especially after that interview she gave saying she wouldn't have signed her new contract had she known they were going to fire her friends/showrunners the next morning.
I watch football broadcasts, college GameDay, Sunday NFL countdown, and MBB when they get a dakich or Vitale game, that is it in terms of my espn consumption. Best of luck in your next chapter, KM.

I liked Mayne but he was definitely not for everyone.
Saw they retained Chris Berman...which...that dude is at least 25 years past his expiration date. Crazy.

I haven’t watched sports center in well over a decade. Way too much schtick and way too focused on the NBA.
Other than live sports I really only watch Gameday and some of the NFL shows. The rest is dreck.
This segment made me laugh when it aired years ago. It's the first thing I think of, for whatever reason, when I think of Kenny Mayne.
Semi-Rant:
ESPN is just about dead in my books. The past 10 years have seen a dramatic drop in quality.
Their CFB gameday coverage sucks unless you get one of 2-3 announcer teams. Corso brings a little joy to CFB, despite his ailments. When he goes, it will be pretty sad, as he is one of the last of their classic personalities.
Too many stupid hot take shows where they debate "Who is the GOAT of sport x" and scream at eachother.

Karl Ravech needs to GTFO !!!! I hate this guy .He acts like sports is about 4 teams/people Yanks,Redsox,Tiger (who hasnt been good in 17 years) ,and LeBron ,if you arent these things you suck at your sport,according to Ravech.
He talks bad about every other person or team.... he literally says stuff like "Mike Trout career is wasted by not playing for the Yankees"
After Kobe died he went on social media and said "Kobe is the only true family man in sports" (cuz he loved his kids kids so much) .... Mr Ravech plz look up Colorado-Kobe-Hotel (while his wife was pregnant)
Karl Ravech doing a baseball broadcast makes me want to walk up behind him with a baseball bat and whisper "good night" !!!! im surprised athletes havent beaten the HELL out of this guy yet . Yes i know he is always the least like guy on the ESPN polls ,but hes "not least liked" ---"hes hated"
I cant believe this guy is still employed at ESPN ,hes a huge reason why ESPN SUCKS
One of the OG host of Sportscenter and the dry, sarcastic humor just solidified him as a great commentator.
