(OT) Kawakami lambasts (with class) Jed York's latest digs at JH
Tim Kawakami lays in to Jed York over his latest not so subtle digs at Jim Harbaugh and some other negative observations.

Jed York is not the enemy, he is a hero. His heroic stupidity and hubris made the impossible happen: he fired a highly sought after NFL coach, making said coach available to go home to his alma mater where he was received as a Conqu'ring Hero. Thank you Jed York, you entitled little jerk.
I don't completely disagree with you. I love York for being so arrogant and a moron. However, I want San Francisco to fail spectacularly so in a way that makes them my enemy...
Have no fear, San Fran's failure was all but assured the moment they hired Tomsula.
Kawakami is a dick, but he's not an enemy.
I don't consider Jed York an enemy, either. Honestly, Harbaugh can be difficult to get along with, and he himself has admitted that. His prickly personality and sometimes abrasive style has been well-documented. But the key is this: at Michigan, he can do and say whatever the f--- he wants because he's among family. And his position in the family is a half-step below that of Vito Corleone. If his tenure goes how we expect it to go, he'll be on par with Vito Corleone (i.e., Bo) or will have surpassed him by the time he leaves. We take Harbaugh for what he is, not what we want him to be, because his deep ties and contributions to this program entitle him to that. In the NFL, coaches are expected to be robots who know their subordinate position in the heirarchy. That's just the nature of the thing. Here, Harbaugh is at the top of the heirarchy and he can be himself and run things however he wants without anyone giving him shit for it.
Plus, he's fun!

Kawakami is nobody's friend. If Kawakami were an ice cream flavor, he'd be pralines and dick.
Hey it's that asshole who blocked me on Twitter!
No, not Jason Whitlock...
Yea he was just really wrong about the entire JH thing and never said he was wrong after the fact, which like "typical media" applies, but yea I'm pretty sure I hate him.
yesterday, but after reading it a few times I still couldn't figure out wtf he was trying to say.
Jed York is a moran? Thanks Tim, news at 11.
I hope he is not related to Erin???
Almost as bad a transformation as Haley Joel Osment.
I showed that same picture to my wife the other night when she was watching a movie with him in it. Something about aliens and robots.
Whats that thing in the picture? Did you like print off a news website onto some really big paper?
Looks like yesterdays news to me.
York comparing Tomsula (who just might be the dumbest person I have ever had the pleasure of watching being interviewed) to Steve Kerr (who might be one of the brighest minds in the NBA) is nothing short of hilarious.
Reminds me of when Dave Brandon compared Brady Hoke to Nick Saban in his powerful manifesto.
saying his name. I feel like my BP goes up 20 points every time that motherless turd burglar's name is mentioned.
Kerr is good, but he walked into a perfect situation....his job was to not fuck it up...
Kerr was a great front office man in the NBA and was widely known to be destined for a HC job at some point. He definetly got fortunate with his situation, but he was also Phil Jacksons hand selected choice to go to Knicks, and would have had a job in another year if he waited. Tomsula is a nobody who has not even made it to coodinator let as well shown any head coach ability.
If the Golden State situation was so perfect, why coudn't Mark Jackson get past the second round with the same personnel?
who is the bigger douchebag?
well one is a Notre Dame grad who inherited his wealth...
York wins.
is nothing to be ashamed of. It means one of your ancestors got off his/her ass and built or contributed something that society valued.
oh I agree with you, what IS something to be ashmed of is that 95% of inherited wealth is lost by the very next generation, meaning that the ass was not gotten off of, and contributions were not made.
York and Baalke will take heat from the minute they start the season. They put themselves under the microscope and on notice. As for Kawakami, he was in the dark during the coaching search just like 99% of the others. He was a bit of a dick, but even shefter was wrong. They all misread the tea leaves.

Yeah, in hindsight I think he had a hard time believing that Harbaugh would go to Michigan because he loved covering him in the bay area. If he had gone to the Raiders he could have easily stayed on the Harbaugh beat. I mean, this is a guy who, if I recall correctly, said that he would move to Ann Arbor if Harbaugh came to Michigan as one of those "I'm so sure this will never happen that I'll say that I'll do this thing that I won't do" bets. Now that he still writes about Harbaugh from halfway across the country, that bet seems to make a bit more sense even if he didn't follow through on it.
Nor the NFL reporters who failed so miserably, because after all, prior to this move it had never happened before. There is no other example of a successful NFL coach who could get another NFL HC job choosing to go to a college job instead.
York is the poster child for the entitled rich kid who never had to worry about failing because mommy and daddy were always there with money, jobs, and platitudes to reinforce how special their little snowflake was.
If he would just learn to shut his mouth once in awhile and stop with the self aggrandizing statements he wouldn't come across as such a douchebag.
Eh, I mean it worked out pretty well for the Mets and Jeff Wilp-
Aw, give the rich kid a break... it's tough going through life with a silver spoon up your ass.
Born on third... got picked off

The NFC West is a brutal division, and when the 49ers head back into the basement after several 5-11 to 6-10 seasons, York will realize all too late how much he needed Harbaugh. Of course, he'll be thinking about it as he clears out his desk and gets run out of town.

I agree with the first part of your statement, but York isn't the type to realize anything that suggests he could be failing. He'll always have someone else to blame for his own shortcomings. And unless he fires himself, he's not going anywhere.
