He wouldn't even have to take tests if he was vaccinated. I feel terrible for him. I can't fathom why a healthy person would choose having their brain tickled daily or biweekly instead of taking two pinpricks. Rahmbo will be back.

from the article it looks like he's being tested because he had close contact with someone else that tested positive.  It doesn't say anywhere in the article that he's not vaccinated or that if he were vaccinated he wouldn't have to take tests after the contact tracing situation.  Unless somebody has info from another source I don't know that you can draw the conclusion that he's not vaccinated.

Amen, KO Stradivarius.  Rahm had this to say and would be a nice place to end it IMHO:  "I'm very disappointed in having to withdraw from the Memorial Tournament. This is one of those things that happens in life, one of those moments where how we respond to a setback defines us as people. I'm very thankful that my family and I are all OK. I will take all of the necessary precautions to be safe and healthy, and I look forward to returning to the golf course as soon as possible. Thank you to all of the fans for their support and I'm looking forward to watching the showdown tomorrow afternoon with you all."

I can’t help but laugh given there’s a widely available vaccine he had 4 months to take.

If there was ever a PSA for people to get vaccinated, it’s Rahm handing over a $1,000,000 check to someone that is

You, STILL, have no idea what his medical conditions are.

Think of what you are saying.. I’ll paraphrase... “The odds are that he should have no issue with the vaccine so he is an idiot for not having it. He is likely not an outlier. Trust me, I am correct, despite my complete ignorance on his situation.”

You know nothing about him. People like you make it impossible to have a conversation.

Or we could care about all the people who have legitimate health reasons not to take the vaccine and the people for whom the vaccine is not particularly effective.   The key to not having people judge you for being an asshole is not to accuse them of virtue signaling, it is to stop being an asshole.

2253 people in the United States between the ages of 18 and 29 have died of Covid-19. How many people have died from getting vaccinated? Any? I would say that having a bad reaction to a vaccination is still a lot better than dying, or exposing those around you to a fatal disease.

I make educated choices. How many people have died from a covid vaccination?

>90,000 people in my age group have died from Covid. The decision was easy for me. It’s a little less obvious for someone like Rahm who is 26, but if he has anyone in a higher risk category in his inner circle, the choice should be obvious for him, too.

Your ignorance is now only usurped by your arrogance.  Again, I hope and pray that your choices work out well for you and yours.  But, I’d ask that you leave others to make their choices for themselves and their families.

EastGermanJudge asked what are the potential risks. Instead of answering him, you insulted him. I asked, a few times, how many people have died from the vaccine. You didn’t answer my question. Instead, you insulted me.

If the answer were one person died from the CV vaccine, would it matter to you?  How many before it would cause you to pause?  What would you say to the family of that person?  Would you pontificate about herd immunity and a necessary sacrifice?  I insulted you because you’re assuming that your fear of death is my, or anyone else’s, concern. Get right with God, or whatever you deem to be appropriate.   If you deem it necessary to take a vaccine to protect you, by all means, do it.  But others who aren’t afraid should be able to make their own choices.  Saying, but if you choose not to vaccinate nobody will ever be safe is patently false, and in direct defiance of the founding principles of our great Republic.

I support, and will fight to the death to defend, your right to self-determination.  Do you support mine?

So, are you actually going to answer the questions posed to you above or are you just going to engage in this word salad of irrelevancies and empty language of clumsy retorts to things no one ever said? Your evasion of simple questions is comical in a disturbing sort of way.

Sten Carlson

Word salad?  Cmon, man.

I don’t know the exact number of people who have died from the CV vaccine, but I know the number is more and zero, and that’s tragic.  I cannot tell you how many people around the world have been harmed by vaccines, but I know my personal experience with them. Does that matter to you?  Does a life of pain and suffering concern you?

LSAClassOf2000

So, you're saying that because of your experience as but one person amongst millions of counterexamples, that the whole thing is a bad idea and vaccines are dangerous. Statistically, regardless of what we're talking about, this argument makes absolutely zero sense. Does your experience matter? Sure, I am sure it matters to someone. Does it change the statistical calculation at large or alter any general evaluation of the relative safety of a vaccine? Absolutely not, and it would be arrogant to believe it did.

He isn't capable of answering with anything of substance, thus the constant mis-directs and floofy bullshit. I hate these people so goddamn much. When your choices have an effect on literally everyone around you, yeah, others have a right to question/deride/shame you all day every day.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Yes--the principles of our Great Republic! Because if these vax people knew anything about history they'd know that the Founding Fathers revolted because King George demanded Americans get COVID vaccines and the Founding Fathers said GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH, YOU FUCKWAD KING!!*

*/sarcasm/

I am fully vaccinated

You have a right to drink, that doesn’t give you a right to drink and drive.     Here, a golfer has a right not to get vaccinated, they are just required to take extra precautions if they chose not to do so.    The challenge is, there are many cases where one person’s choices, infringe upon another.    That is why society, even one based on self determination has rules, to decide what to do when your choices infringe upon others.

I support the Constitution. I support the notion that there are inalienable rights of, "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." The problem with your very selfish understanding of these rights is that my right to breathe covid-free air is at odds with others' rights of self-determination. When rights are in conflict, we head to the Courts. But are we at that stage yet? Has the Government mandated vaccination? Not to my knowledge. Instead, what is happening is that intelligent people who have studied the issue and understand how herd immunity works and have weighed the relative risks of getting the disease versus very rare reactions to the vaccine, have decided to ENCOURAGE (not mandate, encourage) people to get the vaccine so that ALL OF US, (not just you,) can fully enjoy their rights to self-determination.

So, how many people have died from the vaccine? You’ve thrown about 500 words in response to a simple question, while insulting people and generally carrying on like an ass, without managing to answer a very simple question.

lol others who aren't afraid?  I wasn't afraid of COVID but I got the vaccine because it's the smart thing to do and it's the only way to really end this pandemic.  Not getting the vaccine is dumb and selfish, plain and simple.
