OT Joke of the Day: CJ STROUD WANTS TO BECOME AN ACTOR, MAYBE STAR IN ROM-COM
Didn't we already see him play the victim in back to back OSU horror films in 2021 and 2022 where he got mauled to death by a bunch of Wolverines?
January 6th, 2024 at 6:45 PM ^
He would make a great rom-com actor, he can cry on command for sensitive scenes.
He just has to recall that he never beat Michigan.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:32 PM ^
I just want to congratulate CJ for finally making it to Indy....to play the Colts tonight.
He just threw a 75 yd TD pass to Nico Collins, you're welcome CJ!
January 6th, 2024 at 8:46 PM ^
Also thank you CJ for preparing this team for Penix.
January 6th, 2024 at 10:05 PM ^
Is that like foreplay…?
January 6th, 2024 at 6:45 PM ^
I hope he gets cast in a big screen remake of “Call of the Wild.” That Canadian winter will kill him
January 6th, 2024 at 6:59 PM ^
Even better, to see him cast in the third remake of Red Dawn where he has to yell over and over "WOLVERINES!"
Or he can play Snoop in the remake of THE WIRE
January 6th, 2024 at 8:35 PM ^
Well, the only Call of the Wild he got against Michigan was more like a "Deliverance" type situation where we made him squeal like a pig, that was kind of a rom-com, right?
January 6th, 2024 at 6:56 PM ^
Unless he has a hidden talent we don’t know about, he always sounds monotone and not very charismatic for acting
January 6th, 2024 at 6:58 PM ^
There are worse things in the world then being a millionaire and shooting beach scene rom-coms with Sydney Sweeney.
FWIW, I saw that movie (Anyone But You) last night, a date night. It was terrible. No Hard Feelings from the summer was an actually good rom-com.
January 6th, 2024 at 7:19 PM ^
I've heard that shooting love scenes is actually one of the least sexy things ever for the actors themselves.
(That said, I'm not an actor myself and would be willing to put this to the test if Lupita Nyongo or Anne Hathaway's agents are MGoPosters)
January 6th, 2024 at 10:34 PM ^
No Hard Feelings . . . Jennifer Lawrence is not a shy person.
January 6th, 2024 at 7:02 PM ^
We should come up with movie titles that he can star in:
Coming in from the Cold

One Flu Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Finding Love in the Snow

Just don't put him in a horror film...
We know he won't run when he needs to.
January 6th, 2024 at 7:14 PM ^
I thought Stroud lost a wager to Brady - and, it should have cost him his youth and speed.
January 6th, 2024 at 7:38 PM ^
I got three words: it could happen.
OJ Simpson
Alex Karras
Bubba Smith
I could go on...

January 6th, 2024 at 8:21 PM ^
Merlin Olsen
John Matuszak
Ed Marinero
...the list does thin out considerably after that. Cameos and such mostly
January 6th, 2024 at 10:34 PM ^
Fred Dryer
Dick Butkus
Howie Long (kind of)
Terry Crews
Terry Bradshaw (miscellaneous)
Brian Bosworth (kind of)
January 7th, 2024 at 4:04 AM ^
Stroud should pick up Merlin's mantel as the FTD guy. Pitch Pick Me Up Bouquets to folks with the flu.
January 6th, 2024 at 7:54 PM ^
I DONT KNOW WHAT ROLE HE’LL PLAY BUT WHATEVER IT IS IT’LL BE ALL CAPS!!!
January 6th, 2024 at 8:01 PM ^
My favorite thing in the world is when Buckeyes are super successful after a college career without gold pants. I hope CJ gets to whatever heights he can attain.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:14 PM ^
Kidding aside, CJ seems like a really good kid and I am glad kids like that do well, even if they’re hairless nuts
January 7th, 2024 at 9:33 AM ^
right there with ya, brother.

January 6th, 2024 at 8:15 PM ^
I hold no ill will for CJ. I made fun of him while he was a Buckeye, but as a fan of football, I'm glad he's out there doing well. We had a QB at Michigan long ago who did pretty well once he got past his constipated college coach.
That was a nice pass to Nico Collins.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:17 PM ^
Not to be a killjoy, but I can understand that with a childhood such as his that movies provided an escape and, that in some way, he still wants to live in a world where things work out and love prevails. I don't know if he has any talent, but if you can't find some empathy for his story there's something wrong with you.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:22 PM ^
He's a natural at playing a whiney bitch!
He took on the mindset of his mentor and college coach. Nothing is ever his fault!
January 6th, 2024 at 8:29 PM ^
Nico Collins!!!!!!
January 6th, 2024 at 8:29 PM ^
And…..CJ just threw a 75 yd TD to nico Collins.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:31 PM ^
CJ is a stud - what a waste of talent by Third Base.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:56 PM ^
It's better than that:
CJ is a stud. Ohio State's offense was incredible. National championship caliber.
Michigan beat them anyway, because Michigan was (and is) better.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:30 PM ^
Stroud just threw an absolute dime to Nico to open Houston's scoring.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:32 PM ^
Who cares as long as he keeps throwing 75 yard bombs to my man, Nico Collins.
January 6th, 2024 at 8:33 PM ^
Love to see CJ and Nico tearing it up in Houston this year
January 6th, 2024 at 8:51 PM ^
Everytime he throws an absolute dime in the NFL, i come away even more impressed that we were able to go 2-0 against OSU while he started. Dude is unreal, and we made his life hell
