Has he seen the field?
He has played sparingly. From some article I read he supposedly threw a key block on that punt return against us last season.
I just wonder whether this guy was forced out or whether this was of his own choosing.
Well I think clearly the answer is whichever makes msu look worse!
If there's a way that both Izzo & D'Antiono can both come out looking bad for their poor guidance & lax supervision of young men, then that's the narrative I'm goin with!
I assume he's leaving because, yeah, he isn't going to see the field. But I'm sure it probably also helps him out the door that he's drawn the ire of the local fans for, I don't know, goading a favorite sun into slapping him.
Priceless,"Drawing the ire of the local fans for, I don't know, goading a favorite son into slapping him". Damn thats funny I had to log in for a quik TY and throw a +1 your way. Go Blue!
He played in every game last year and recored 25 tackles I think one of the local news articles had said.
Damn it, I laughed way harder at this than I should have.
He played on and off throughout the season, but was third on the depth chart in spring. There really isn't a large impact on MSU from this, and in some ways may be addition by subtraction (based on his former teammates reaction to the Green v Edmondson thing, they weren't exactly on his side, making me believe he didn't really get along with them too well).
was seriously thinking that same thing. I actually can't believe there isn't one already. It was pretty explicit. Bordering on porographic.
You Rang?
Don't you think D'Antonio's expression there is what every Rub n Tug girl is feeling inside?
Looks like he's too busy jacking off to pay attention to what just happened.
He's probably one of MSU's sad math majors.
come back into town and act like pricks and slap like girls!
Edmondson apparently got really upset when Draymond Green asked the same question.

Weird timing. What's the conspiracy theory that goes along this?

"Well boy if this isn't just a kick in the nuts"
Nah, it will never amount to anything. I shorted all my Nintendo stock as soon as they announced it.
Who's the Wolf of Wall Street, baby? Huh? Go ahead, say my name.
Wait . . . what?
the cruel cycle of disrespekt

can they really afford to lose any DB's? That tire fire of a secondary needs all the help they can get.
he was listed as 3rd string coming out of spring practice.
on that secondary than I'd have to say it's no loss. At least he made Green look stupid, so thanks for that kid
Their depth is a big fat question mark.
Nicholson finally started playing like a guy that could take a decent enough angle and have the desire to tackle to take advantage of his admittedly good athleticism in the last couple games.
I liked what I saw from Copeland the first couple games of the season, at least compared to the other CBs on their roster. I don't think he's a world beater yet, but he was back for spring which was big for his development and showed some promise. He's at worst solid this year and average B1G CB.
Both Cox and Hicks are essentially as average as they come. Both are actually decent athletes for safeties, but of course, Hicks is playing CB (not his natural position) and Cox can be picked on a bit due to the scheme of their defense.
So they should actually be solid this year, but not like the DBs of some of their great defenses. It's not nearly the tire fire it was at points last year though.
Yeah, they won't be terrible by any means, but the depth really seems to be lacking. And that seems have been an issue for them for a couple of years now. Didn't Lippett play both ways for a bit because their other corner opposite Dennard? It seems like they'll be fine this year, but if one of those guys goes down I'm not sure who steps up.
What will also be interesting is seeing how good the secondary holds up without a dominant pass rush. McDowell is a beast, but do they have someone else who can consistently generate pressure?
Didn't he play quite a bit last year? I watched the Sparty/Nebraska game last night and he seemed to be the starter. Maybe another guy was hurt, I know they had some injuries last season. This can't be great if only for depth purposes.
I guess Draymon won that one.
Yes, he has seen the field. Rewatch the disastrous punt against State last year and Edmundson laid a key block on the return. F. F'ity F F F.
Anyway, nothing to see here, I'm sure. He and Dantonio have been discussing this for weeks probably. It just so happens the announcement of his departure coincides with Draymond not wanting to "pay fo that ****** scholarship" anymore.
Fuck State.
I have no idea what you are talking about... know nothing about any football game last year against State
Anytime you lose depth, it is a good thing for your rivals. We will beat them by 3 TD's now instead of 2.
