OT - Fitz Toussaint just scored his 1st touchdown today

Submitted by Little Jimmy on

Flipping to the  PIttsburgh/Denver game and a nice run down to the 1 yard line.  He then punched it in for his 1st TD.

Nice to see him playing on Sundays.  I'm very happy for him.

I'm really glad for their success, of course, but seeing three RBs who "struggled" at Michigan play at an NFL roster makes me a little peeved. I wonder who could have had a pro career if it were not for the Borges-Hoke braintrust.

Jake Ryan looks like he will have a good career ahead of him as well. And Michael Schofield started today for Denver, in NFL playoff Wolverine news. And a sixth rounder QB of some sort started for the Patriots. He may have potential.

Was it Fred Jackson? Or was it the consistently lousy O-line play after Lloyd Carr hung up his whistle? I do tend to think that running behind the Pittsburgh (or Seattle in Thomas Rawls' case) O-lines would tend to help you more fully realize your talent than with what was going at UM for the seven years prior to Harbaugh's arrival.

how queer is this... that in the same week, rawls and toussaint starting in the NFL playoffs while our 5 star green transferred out, and that USCs Ty Issac will be on our bench. . who'd have predicted THAT two yrs ago

Will be a Michigan Man winning a Superbowl this year. I wonder how many teams can claim the same?

Patriots have Brady and Alan Branch
Broncos has Schoefield
Steelers has Fitz
Carolina has Funchess
Arizona has Lamar Woodley

Nobody.

we get to stick to so many other schools off Brady alone. Hope he plays another 3,4 yrs at least.

It'd be great if he came back to talk to the first legit top ten preseason Mich team in over a decade before the season starts.....

Even cooler is that there would've been a Michigan Man playing in the SB regardless today's turnout.

NE - Brady/Branch
KC - Avant
ARI - Woodley
GB - JMFR
CAR - Funchess
SEA - Clark
PIT - Fitz
DEN - Schofield

Watch Fitz's run where he almost scored right before he ran it in....he makes 2,3 cuts on that play alone I've never seen him make in ann arbor.

All he needed was an NFL-quality line...which we should consistently have in AA after Jim's 2017 #1 overall recruiting class, hopefully making that his 2nd in a row.

Lot of Maize n Blue to watch right now....

1.Mich v ohio in hockey
2. Fitz's steelers v Broncos

And what I'm mostly watching Wolverines v. Iowa in BB

Toussaint really did work hard and, in a lot of respects, uphill against things like less than stellar offensive line play when he was here - I still wonder how he would have done if some other aspects of the offense had been in order here.

It is great to see him not only get a chance on Sundays but to make a difference - possibly be the difference - in games such as these in the pros.
