OT: Dolphins star Tyreek Hill ‘violently’ charged at model — and broke her leg, lawsuit says

It was all a huge misunderstanding. He told her "BLOW ME!" She thought he said "Blow by me!"

A social media influencer with millions of followers says Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill “violently” charged at her during a “friendly football lesson” last summer — breaking her leg. She’s now taking him to court.

Regardless, I hope she gets a lot of money from him because his response was absolutely uncalled for.

Tyreek seems like he’s got a little AB in him. Always has an excuse, “explanation,” or “misunderstanding” but the fact that it keeps happening tells me all I need to know.

Paywalled.  She's only seeking 50K-75K, so not sure if your hope will come to fruition.

This whole story is weird.

Sophie Hall, a model with over 2 million followers on Instagram, filed the lawsuit in Broward County court last Friday. In the filing, she says Hill charged into her to retaliate for an earlier instance when she managed to push him backward during a drill. Hall also says she was not provided proper medical care after breaking her leg.

He seems like a prick.

She’s an influencer /social media star so the amount she sues and eventually settles for can be this low since the story itself will generate a bunch of new followers and clicks.

I’m sure the team did the math and realized the story itself has more value to her than a potential “accidental injury” lawsuit asking for a huge sum of money that may brand her more as a an extortionist than a victim.

Looking at the actual complaint it's more that she's asking for more than $50k in damages; that appears to just be a bar in Florida you have to clear when filing the claim in this particular circuit court.  I don't think she's actually limiting herself to $75k in punitive damages, which tend to be significantly more than compensatory damages.

This reads more like some reporter didn't spend much time reading the complaint and instead is just repeating something he heard elsewhere and that's being sent out.

I mean, I've literally never seen somebody break their leg like this without getting rolled up on, which I assume is what happened? Or somebody just fell on her leg while she was getting blocked? Like, I suppose it's possible that she just planted *really* wrong, but it's hard to imagine a leg break like this resulting from just pure strength mismatch.

On the one hand, it sounds like she's the one who turned up the intensity on the drill. On the other hand, Hill seems like an enormous sleazebag. I shrug my shoulders.

Dudes been a piece of shit but he’s fast  so everyone makes excuses for him…was the same for Antonio Brown, the enabling made him even more bold until it couldn’t be ignored.

How does someone so soft mentally get so far in professional sports? Breaking a girl's leg because people giggle when she moves you in a football drill you told her to do? Soft as fuck.

How many incidents with women has he been involved in? It’s certainly been more than one. Either way, at this point it seems very much like a him problem.

Maybe the Chiefs knew what they were doing when they let him walk.

He's really fast so people keep giving him chances but he was kicked off the Oklahoma St. football team due to domestic violence, apparently a child at his house burned it down playing with a lighter, he likely broke a 3-year-old's arm and then threatened the mother when she accused him of doing it (though apparently that was in dispute), last year he got into a fight with a guy, and now this.  Oh, and he's embroiled in multiple paternity suits.

Just seems like a guy people are really enabling because he's good at football, which isn't new but also pretty depressing.

This guy is a fuck up.  He has been charged multiple times for violence against women and other violent acts outside of football.   Just because he is a good WR is the only reason this guy hasn't been out in jail.
