OT Chip Kelly Hires Roy Manning
Chip Kelly has continued to fill out his staff. SI has learned UCLA is hiring Washington State assistant coach Roy Manning as the Bruins’ new special teams coordinator. Manning had other offers from Pac-12 schools this winter.

Since Manning left after the Hoke days I had no clue he landed with Mike Leach in The Palouse. Nice promotion for him, hope maybe he can come back here some day as an assistant again.

He didn't do well his first go round here, but he was set up to Fail (an ex-Linebacker asked to coach CBs). Would love to have a more experienced Manning back at the Big house at some point though.

I know its crazy talk but throw some money at Woodson, we can outpay his gig now he's from the area (Freemont) and what recruit could turn down Woodson. Doesn't hurt to ask, he's around the program often enough still
